The story begins in a faraway corner of Oz, in the small country of Oogaboo. There Queen Ann Soforth musters an unlikely army and sets off to conquer the rest of Oz. Meanwhile, a girl from Oklahoma named Betsy Bobbin and her companion, Hank the mule, are shipwrecked and washed ashore in the Rose Kingdom, a magical land of talking roses. There they meet the Shaggy Man, who is on a quest to rescue his brother from the clutches of the evil Nome King.

"Glinda of Oz" is the fourteenth "Land of Oz" book written by L. Frank Baum, published in 1920. It is the last book of the original Oz series. Like most of the Oz books, the plot features a journey through some of the remoter regions of Oz; though in this case the pattern is doubled: Dorothy and Ozma travel to stop a war between the Flatheads and Skeezers; then Glinda and a cohort of Dorothy's friends set out to try to rescue them... Wonderful, eccentric, moving and funny as always!

Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz is the fourth oz book. In this story, a California earthquake sends Dorothy and her new friends - Zeb the farm boy, Jim the cab-horse, and Eureka the mischievous kitten - tumbling through a crack in the ground. "Rinkitink in Oz" is the tenth wonderful book of the Land of "Oz" series written by L. Frank Baum. The full and extended title says a bit about what's going on in this enchanting and more than slightly mad world: "Rinkitink in Oz: Wherein is Recorded the Perilous Quest of Prince Inga of Pingaree and King Rinkitink in the Magical Isles that Lie Beyond the Borderland of Oz". As always with the Oz audio books, the listener gets fully enveloped by the wonderfully strange surroundings and the equally strange and wonderful (not always, though!) persons.

The Road to Oz is the fifth Oz book. In this book, Dorothy and Toto are off again on an exciting adventure down the road to Oz. In order to help the Shaggy Man, Dorothy and Toto must journey through magical and mysterious lands. Soon the three are joined by a lost boy named Button-Bright and the beautiful young Polychrome, the Rainbow's Daughter.

Dorothy travels to the Emerald City with new friends the Shaggy man, Button-Bright, and Polychrome, with requests for invitations to Princess Ozma's birthday party. Among the party's guests are some familiar faces, including Santa Claus.

"Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz" is the fourth book (among many!) set in the Land of Oz by author L. Frank Baum, published in 1908. Written shortly after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and around the time Baum moved to California, the book starts with an earthquake in California. Dorothy and others - such as Eureka (her cat), Zeb (her cousin) - are riding a buggy being pulled by a cab-horse named Jim, when suddenly they are swallowed up by cracks in the earth, and fall into an underground cavern, where they begin their adventures, including meeting a race of people made entirely out of vegetables... this will be the least strange part of this wonderful story!

In the magical lands of Noland and Ix, two regions adjacent to Oz, the fairies of the forest of Burzee have made an incredible magic cloak that grants its wearer one wish. Queen Zixi, who is now 683 years old but appears just 16, covets the cloak in the hopes of reversing a curse that makes mirrors reflect her true age.
