About this listen

Welcome to Enchantra. There’s only one rule: Never, ever trust your heart.

When Genevieve Grimm’s mother is killed, Genevieve wants answers nobody can give… until she receives an invitation to Enchantra, a cursed palace filled with temptations and illusions.

Arrogant and dangerously handsome, Rowin Silver meets her at the door and refuses to let her inside. But Genevieve finds her own way in… And soon realizes her mistake.

Enchantra is a twisted labyrinth of marble and thorns, where Rowin’s family are trapped forever in a deadly game. Now, Genevieve must win or die.

Rowin offers her a deal. They can compete together… if they convince everyone watching that they’re desperately in love.

Genevieve knows she can’t trust Rowin, but she’ll do whatever it takes to survive. As they hunt and hide together, Genevieve tries to ignore the desire burning between them. She absolutely cannot fall for this man. Cannot forget that she’s only pretending to be in love.

After all, it was Rowin who taught her Enchantra’s first rule… Never, ever trust your heart.

Packed with deadly intrigue and spicy romance, Enchantra will transport you to a world of feisty heroines and morally gray love interests, fake dating, forbidden desire and family secrets. If you love books by Kerri Maniscalco, Carissa Broadbent and Lauren Roberts, prepare to discover your new romantasy obsession.

Editorial Review

The game she never meant to play
After all of the chaos that she caused for her older sister Ophelia in Phantasma, I couldn’t help but wonder what happened to Genevieve Grimm. So when I heard her story, Enchantra, was coming, I pre-ordered it immediately and patiently began my wait—which was so worth it! What starts as an Italian getaway quickly turns into a deadly game where losing means eternal damnation. Genevieve’s only hope? Rowin Silver, the infuriatingly handsome, impossibly guarded heir to the cursed family at the heart of it all. Forced into a fake courtship to survive, their chemistry simmers before exploding into something undeniable. That ending had me on edge, completely immersed in every moment—and now really excited for the next in the series. Laura Horowitz returns to narrate, making this world impossible to leave. —Patty R., Audible Editor

Knockout Performance!

I loved the first book and was so excited for this book but also very excited to hear this narrator again. She does the most fantastic job and I don’t understand it but somehow she does a great male character voice which is basically unheard of.
The story line wasn’t my favorite and I found the ffc to be extremely annoying. But I’m excited for the setup for the coming books. I might just not have been in the right mood for this book but would still continue to read the rest of the series.

Loved.

I enjoyed it just as much as Phantasma, which I honestly didn’t think was going to be possible.

Amazing narration!!!

Wow Kaylie Smith does it again with an amazing Romantasy story. This book has gothic elements as it’s based in New Orleans. I loved this plot. I read and audio this book because I saw who the narrator was and needed that in my life. I absolutely love this voice actor as she changes her voice for ever since character( not just male va female). OMG end of chapter 39 im screaming!!!!! Truth truth lie!!!!
Then the ending… I still cannot get over it. Like the tears that turned into giggle and laughter. Wow. I cannot believe how much he gave up for her. That is what I want. Like adorable… I absolutely love and adore these two characters. The ending was just the icing on the cake to rate this a 5 ⭐️ read for me. And the 🌶️ was a solid 2-3… not too many scenes but the sense that they had were very spicy! 10/10 for the voice acting.

Great

Everything was great! Was reading and listening at same time and I noticed one sentence was missing.

Missing:
“Anyway, it was only nineteen brides.”

Which I thought was funny!

I would say this is a 3.5-4 star story

The only thing that saves this book is the writing and the MMC. The FMC is so childish and annoying that it’s hard to enjoy the rest of the storyline. I think midway through the book I found Genevieve to be slightly less whiny, but throughout the book it feels like she never actually grows and continues to just be frustrating. I enjoyed Phantasma and will likely read the third book in the series, but this was a hard book to get through, and at no fault of the narrator. Narrator does an excellent job.

Good, fun read

It's a fun read. I think the first one was better, but I did love the found family in this one.

Great book

Loved this book. Looking forward to 3rd book. Narrator was great but I think I would have liked a duel narration. Loved both Rowan and Genevieve.
