Sebastian Frost frequently found himself marrying women he barely knew.

His first wife demanded that he marry her as payment for saving his life, his second tricked him into marrying her, the third he married to secure an alliance, and his fourth was Lysandra. Lysandra was the only woman that Frost chose to marry and she was also the future mother of his child.

He thought that after marrying Lysandra he would be finished marrying women he just met but it seemed he was mistaken.

In the heat of the moment, he made a reckless wager that resulted in him being engaged to Olivia Moray, a noblewoman from the obscenely wealthy Moray family. If he married Olivia, he would have access to her vast fortune. If he didn't marry her, the Moray family would take it as a grave insult. It was an easy choice to make.

Frost had more important things to deal with, like his agreement with the Goddess Riliandra.

The goddess found her next prophet and per their deal, Frost needed to protect her. The only problem was that the cute demihuman prophet in question was located in Nir, a country that did not welcome visitors and happened to be at war with Rilia.

Frost was going to have to find a way to smuggle himself into the country, find the prophet, and escape. All without getting the attention of the Herald of Niri, a powerful sorceress rumored to be immortal.

Herald of Shalia is a fun fantasy light LitRPG/Gamelit by Tamryn Tamer and contains attention starved elves, naughty harpies, creative catgirls, foxy madams, foul language, and completely over the top love making. You've been warned.

the story is fine my issue is with the performance, the narration of the 2 narrators are so out of sync with totally different recording quality taking away from any ability to sync with the story itself

noticeably worse

Really glad that this finally came out.
Hoping the missing parts are fixed.

Overall, I'm excited to see how the story develops going on.

Long time waiting.

Story is as good as the others. Not happy we waited 5 years to listen to a story that the sound drops occasionally. Hope it gets fixed soon.

great story and performance but really the editing is sub par. whoever did it was new to the job.

who's the editor??!!

Nearly half the chapters have atleast a sentence or two missing in it, that leave gaps in it at odd locations. This sadly takes away from the story and the enjoyment I could take from the storyline.

the overall story was great and and builds upon the previous books really well.

chunks of audio skips or is missing. writer apparently waited for book 6 to be written to release this one. The lewd scenes are fine (if getting stale), but the rest of the story could use a lot more focus.

underwhelming for a 5 year wait

again love these books. great story and really hope you keep making more.

only thing and I don't know if it was just a bad download. but sometimes I was running into hiccups or blanks in the story. it took so long to get this one out I don't really care but just incase there's something wrong.

love these books

The story was a great continuation and when the recorded voice lines were all there it was a great performance. My major issue is that there were many times where voice lines were cut off or completely blank during the story being read and it was rather annoying.

Great Story, But Many Missing Audio Parts

I’d pay to hear Amber Lee Connors read the phone book. Putting that grandpa crush aside, the story stayed true to the series. The editing had an embarrassing number of glitches though and it got annoying at times. It was pretty clear that Kieran Flitton’s recording studio needs a remodel. If I hadn’t already been invested in the story and an Amber Lee fanboy (fangeezer?) I’m not sure I could have made it through this one. But the first 4 books were super entertaining, this one kept it up very well, and all is forgiven. They probably put it together remotely due to COVID and bravo for that. The show must go on!

Don’t blame the voice actors

There were several instances where the audio had awkwardly long pauses of just silence, or would reference a character saying something even though there was no audio of what thebcharacter said. Otherwise, FANTASTIC!
