Story
Rain Christiansen is settling into married life with fellow cold case detective, Daniel McKenna, and life is good. Better than good, even. But when it comes to the topic of expanding their family, Rain isn't so sure he's ready. Yes, a new addition could enrich their lives. But it could also tear down the delicate balance they've worked so hard to achieve. Do they really want to take that risk? He'd love to brood over that a little more, but murder never takes a day off. A decade-old mystery of the missing Parker family is heating up.

A year ago, I lost everything and moved across the country to try and start over. It wasn't easy, but I found a job I love, I have friends who've become my family, and I'm ready to start exploring my bisexuality. Just when I think things are finally starting to go my way, I show up to work and find out the new guys on the crew are the super-hot couple I hooked up with last weekend.

Story
Moving into my first house is step one in starting my new life. Next is setting up my contracting business. I'm so focused on my future that a relationship is the last thing on my mind. Then I meet Tristan, the single dad next door. He might be my total opposite, but we click in a way I've never experienced, and he quickly becomes one of my closest friends. After attending a wedding as his fake date to make his ex, and his ex's new boyfriend, jealous, I can't deny that things between us have changed.

Story
Weirdly, people don’t react overly well when you’re caught standing over the dead body of a murderer who’d walked free. It’s not that I thought my fellow homicide detective would rejoice when he saw what I’d done, but is a pat on the back too much to ask for? Maybe a gold star at the very least? The problem is that the person who caught me is Gabriel, the only person I care for and adore… and he’s prepared to look the other way if I leave homicide and promise to never kill again.

As always, Alice has the perfect ratio of suspense, romance, heartbreak of traumas past and deadpan humor with a pinch of 🌶️ to keep things interesting. Dickish grump ready to tear the world apart to keep his sunshiny love safe. And of course there’s Lucy Fur. An amazing book deserves an amazing performance and Greg Boudreaux certainly delivers that.

Story
Fierce. Audacious. Independent. Curtis Ash can't be bothered to settle down. He's too busy enjoying his cushy job as a high-paid stylist, caught in a whirlwind of hookups, parties, and obscenely priced cocktails. The only snarl in an otherwise charmed life is the salon's hotshot colorist, Red Turner. Not only does Red put the whammy on customers and rake in all the big tips, he's oblivious to Crash's flirtation. But there will be plenty of time to win him over - or so Crash thinks.

If you don’t like Crash, you might feel the urge to skip this book. Don’t. Because there’s no way you could not love him after listening to his story. The sarcastic, snippy little s*it is just a facade. Well he is sarcastic, and okay snippy too, but he’s also incredibly smart, insightful and even sweet. He’s got a heart of gold and he is loyal to the end. His story is heartbreaking and it left me in tears several times. You’ll find out about his life before the first PsyCop book and you’ll also get to enjoy his first encounter with Caroline, Jacob, Vic and even Con. Trust me, you don’t want to miss it. There’s also a few scenes involving Con, Vic and/or Jacob you’ve only heard referred to and some you knew nothing of.

Story
Victor Bayne, the psychic half a PsyCop team, is a gay medium who's more concerned with flying under the radar than in making waves. He hooks up with handsome Jacob Marks, a non-psychic (or "Stiff") from an adjacent precinct at his ex-partner's retirement party, and it seems like his dubious luck has taken a turn for the better. But then a serial killer surfaces who can change his appearance to match any witness' idea of the world's hottest guy.

Book one is rather short, but combine PNR, mystery and suspense with my soft spot for socially awkward characters and I’m hooked. Nth relisten and I still love it.
Gomez Pugh’s narration is amazing . His take on the characters is just perfect reflecting their personalities. Accents sound realistic and Gomez distinguishes the voices so listeners don’t have to guess who’s talking.

My role as Moric—ruler of a small and prosperous fiefdom in a quiet corner of the world—has always been painfully dull and stifling. Until a beautiful, otherworldly creature with pink skin and a mane of golden hair falls through a strange void that has appeared in my guestroom. I am instantly captivated by him. I have never seen anything like him. I have no idea where he came from, and what else is through that unsettling void—another world filled with soft-skinned, defenseless creatures like him? No tails, no horns, no claws, no sharp teeth. Tiny clothing, rounded ears, bright blue eyes.

Being a hitman is the loneliest of jobs. We don't have many friends. Some don't even have family. Lovers? Try explaining to your boyfriend why there's blood on your shirt. Christmas is the worst time to be alone. This year, love is in the cards for me, all thanks to a letter I found in the street. It reads, "Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is revenge…"
