Publisher's summary

Cinderella meets THE CRUEL PRINCE in this stand-alone fantasy romance about a human girl and her marriage to the prince of the fae.

She knew her hand in marriage would be sold. She had no idea a fae prince was the buyer.

Katria swore she'd never fall in love. She's seen what "love" means through the cruelty of her family. So when she's married off to the mysterious Lord Fenwood for a handsome price, all Katria wants is a better life than the one she's leaving. Feelings are off the table.

But her new husband makes not falling in love difficult.

As their attraction begins to grow, so too do the oddities within her new life: strange rules, screams in the night, and attacks by fae that Katria never thought were real. When she witnesses a ritual not meant for human eyes, Katria finds herself spirited away to the land of Midscape.

Surviving the fae wilds as a human is hard enough. Katria must survive as a human who accidently pilfered the magic of ancient kings - magic a bloodthirsty king is ready to kill her for in order to keep his stolen throne - and her new husband is the rightful heir in hiding.

The power to save the fae is in her hands. But who will save her from a love she vowed never to feel?

A Dance with the Fae Prince is a complete, *stand-alone dramatized audiobook*, inspired by the tales of Psyche and Eros, as well as Cinderella, with a "happily ever after" ending. It's perfect for romantic fantasy listeners who enjoyed of A Court of Silver Flames and An Enchantment of Ravens. A Dance with the Fae Prince features a slow-burn romance, swoon-worthy couple, and steaminess that ranges from simmering to sizzling.

Performed by Laura C. Harris, Gabriel Michael, David Cui Cui, Robb Moreira, Nickolette Kong, David Engel, Jeri Marshall, Melody Muze, Tanja Milojevic, Aure Nash, Sheree Wichard, Terence Aselford, Shanta Parasuraman, Yasmin Tuazon, Karen Novack, Andy Clemence, Adrian Garcia, Nanette Savard, James Konicek, Scott McCormick, David Zitney, Eric Messner and Ken Jackson.

Divine

This book is the reason why I kept reading and why I feel my soul find a place to stay.
The narration was beautiful though at the beginning the voice sounded a little digital after a little while you can't stop listening. One of my favorites.

Sounds Robotic

The story is what kept me going with finishing this audible. However, the main narrator sounds like a robot/AI. It was challenging at times tonget through because of this.

The dramatic audio is amazing

I absolutely love Davien and Katria, they are such a beautiful couple and the story is full of so much adventure and love it's not a lot it's not overpowering to me, like most books have. I love all of her other books and in this world, I could live in it!

I really liked it but…

I like the married to magic series and will continue to listen to them. Sometimes I feel like they need to be longer and with more information. Things happen too fast but overall I like them! My problem with this book was the main narrator. She sounded like a robot and I couldn’t stand how she ended each sentence! There were times when I wanted to stop listening but pushed through. I’m glad I did but I hope the next book doesn’t have this same issue.

Gripping Plot; Bad narration

I loved the story— predictable but enjoyable and fast paced so I never felt bored. The narrator sounds like a robot and I really had to question if they made the decision to just use an AI since the narration was so different from the protagonist’s speaking voice. This is the first time a graphic audio production let me down.

Automaton narrator

Well produced. Interesting storyline. The narrator sounded like a digital or AI voice. Ultimately rather irritating. I skipped through the last two chapters because the woman narrating this story—the title character—was too robotic to be enjoyed. Too bad.

Mixed Review

I wasn't a fan of the narrator for the FMC, but I love the actor who plays the MMC (he's the voice of Lucien from ACOTAR and Xaden from Fourth Wing graphic audio). The plot was predictable.

Wonderful performance, ok story.

The pot was a little disappointing to me especially compared with the first book. As always Graphic Audio does a great job with makeing the book come alive like a movie but this version is abridged. Meaning if you want to follow along with the book it is very difficult. they skip whole pages and paragraphs. I painstakingly read the book with the audio pausing and finding the next part they leave off and start. I felt they left alot of good details out that really gave the story depth. As for the story I feel most people would get the whole plot figured out in the first 1/4 of the book. The plot is so painfully obvious and the issue I have is that it takes a long time for the "plot twist" that is not a plot twist to come to light at the very end of the story. Also what should have been a climactic part in the story felt awkward and forced. So the story I would say is ok. I Still would recommend listening because it is still an enjoyable book and the performance is also entertaining to listen to.

Unique

The actors did okay except for the narration parts. It sounded like an automated phone operator.
