About this listen

Cinderella meets THE CRUEL PRINCE in this stand-alone fantasy romance about a human girl and her marriage to the prince of the fae.

She knew her hand in marriage would be sold. She had no idea a fae prince was the buyer.

Katria swore she'd never fall in love. She's seen what "love" means through the cruelty of her family. So when she's married off to the mysterious Lord Fenwood for a handsome price, all Katria wants is a better life than the one she's leaving. Feelings are off the table.

But her new husband makes not falling in love difficult.

As their attraction begins to grow, so too do the oddities within her new life: strange rules, screams in the night, and attacks by fae that Katria never thought were real. When she witnesses a ritual not meant for human eyes, Katria finds herself spirited away to the land of Midscape.

Surviving the fae wilds as a human is hard enough. Katria must survive as a human who accidently pilfered the magic of ancient kings—magic a bloodthirsty king is ready to kill her for in order to keep his stolen throne—and her new husband is the rightful heir in hiding.

The power to save the fae is in her hands. But who will save her from a love she vowed never to feel?

A Dance with the Fae Prince is a complete, *stand-alone dramatized audiobook*, inspired by the tales of Psyche and Eros, as well as Cinderella, with a "happily ever after" ending. It's perfect for romantic fantasy fans who enjoyed of A Court of Silver Flames and An Enchantment of Ravens. A Dance with the Fae Prince features a slow-burn romance, swoon-worthy couple, and steaminess that ranges from simmering to sizzling.

Performed by Laura C. Harris, Gabriel Michael, David Cui Cui, Robb Moreira, Nickolette Kong, David Engel, Jeri Marshall, Melody Muze, Tanja Milojevic, Aure Nash, Sheree Wichard, Terence Aselford, Shanta Parasuraman, Yasmin Tuazon, Karen Novack, Andy Clemence, Adrian Garcia, Nanette Savard, James Konicek, Scott McCormick, David Zitney, Eric Messner and Ken Jackson.

This unique and dark twisted Cinderella retelling is beautifully crafted. Will listen to again and again.

Dark Cinderella

This book is the reason why I kept reading and why I feel my soul find a place to stay.
The narration was beautiful though at the beginning the voice sounded a little digital after a little while you can't stop listening. One of my favorites.

Loved it

The story is what kept me going with finishing this audible. However, the main narrator sounds like a robot/AI. It was challenging at times tonget through because of this.

Sounds Robotic

I loved the storyline. I really loved the ending. I anticipated it but had to keep going to the make sure I was right.

Loved the story line

I absolutely love Davien and Katria, they are such a beautiful couple and the story is full of so much adventure and love it's not a lot it's not overpowering to me, like most books have. I love all of her other books and in this world, I could live in it!

The dramatic audio is amazing

I'm struggling to finish this book after 5 hrs in. I'm enjoying the story but the absolutely horrific robotic narration is grinding on my nerves. The narrator is supposedly the MFC but has 2 completely different voices. I'm not a fan of AI voice which is why I purposely don't purchase books that say "virtual voice". I gave this 2 stars because the cast in dramatized adaptions are always so great.

Good story, horrible robotic narrator

I like the married to magic series and will continue to listen to them. Sometimes I feel like they need to be longer and with more information. Things happen too fast but overall I like them! My problem with this book was the main narrator. She sounded like a robot and I couldn’t stand how she ended each sentence! There were times when I wanted to stop listening but pushed through. I’m glad I did but I hope the next book doesn’t have this same issue.

I really liked it but…

I loved the story— predictable but enjoyable and fast paced so I never felt bored. The narrator sounds like a robot and I really had to question if they made the decision to just use an AI since the narration was so different from the protagonist’s speaking voice. This is the first time a graphic audio production let me down.

Gripping Plot; Bad narration

Well produced. Interesting storyline. The narrator sounded like a digital or AI voice. Ultimately rather irritating. I skipped through the last two chapters because the woman narrating this story—the title character—was too robotic to be enjoyed. Too bad.
