Love Sabrina Jefferies fun and light hearted romp

I always enjoy Sabrina Jeffries fun and lighthearted romps. Anthony Ferguson does a decent job of narrating. He does a fantastic job with his male characters. However his grandmother voice is a bit irritating.

loving it... but the southern drawl......

What made the experience of listening to A Hellion in Her Bed the most enjoyable?

The story itself. I love this series and do enjoy each one. The idea after three of them is tempting and tiring. The premise the stories are developed from is very good and although I am always excited to go on to the next one I also find the torture that that causes each just starts to get a little bitsy bit old.

What other book might you compare A Hellion in Her Bed to and why?

Any of Sabrina Jeffries.

What three words best describe Antony Ferguson’s voice?

Voice- nice. Southern drawls for londoners is ALL WRONG! I kept thinking it was a story that was taking place in the deep south of america... geesh! Like I said, all wrong. I enjoy his voice just not for any setting where a southern drawl isn't correct. ...

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I did cry. But the southern accents really are distracting.

Any additional comments?

I truly enjoy the hellions of halstead series.

Good, but not great

3.5 stars. OK story. Antony Ferguson has a lovely voice, but his falsetto-ish female voices just don't get the job done.

Loved it BUT.....

Love Sabrina Jefferies so so much BUT, this narration is just as bad as the first in the series. He sounds great except for the accent and horid womens voices I almost cant listen.

A good one from Sabrina

If you could sum up A Hellion in Her Bed in three words, what would they be?

I really enjoyed this story! A good addition to the series. Both characters were captivating

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

To be honest I would prefer female narrators for such books as they perform both male and female voices better than male narrators. But the narrator was not bad , had to improve on the female voice , but his overall performance is acceptable and did not ruin the book. Still I would have loved for Rosalyn Landor or Justine Eyre

Very Good

Loved it. Loved reading about the brewster SHero. A nice change of pace from the standard debutantes that you usually find in historical novels.

Enjoyed seeing Jarrett fall for her.

GOOD TO OKAY---

Got a little too sappy toward the end at the expense of the story and it began to drag, but still a good listen. Narrator was fine--he did much better male voices than female, however I guess that's a given.

Well interpreted by narrator

Second in a series about a very wealthy family and the domineering grandmother who married a titled man but she was the source of the wealth which she earned by astutely running a brewery. Have reread several times since 2013.

Love the Hellions!

What made the experience of listening to A Hellion in Her Bed the most enjoyable?

I loved the story line. I love how each sibling is finding their own match with their prospective loves!

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Hellion in Her Bed?

There are several moments through out the book that made it enjoyable for me. I love how Ms. Jeffries works in the current happenings with the past of the Sharp children's parents death. A mistery that is slowly coming to light. She also gives you a look at the other siblings future as well.

Which scene was your favorite?

One of my favorite scenes is when Jarret and Annable finally are able to be together. I think it's at this point that they both realize their love for each other. Love the book. On to the next!
