About this listen

Created by historian and futurist sibling authors, A Second Chance for Yesterday is a clever and time-twisting story exploring life, redemption and quantum entanglements.

Nev Bourne is a hotshot programmer for the latest and greatest tech invention out there: SavePoint, the brain implant that rewinds the seconds of all our most embarrassing moments. She’s been working non-stop on the next rollout, even blowing off her boyfriend, her best friend and her family to make SavePoint 2.0. But when she hits go on the test-run, she wakes up the next day only to discover it's yesterday. She's falling backwards in time, one day at a time.

As things spiral out of control, a long-lost friend from college reappears in her life claiming they know how to save her. Airin is charming and mysterious, and somehow knows Nev intimately well. Desperate and intrigued, Nev takes a leap of faith. A friendship born of fear slowly becomes a bond of deepest trust, and possibly love. With time running out, and the whole world of SavePoint users at stake, Nev must learn what it will take to set things right, and what it will cost.

Multi Layered Time Travel Romance

Fascinating, well crafted story that kept me listening back to sections so i wouldn't miss a detail. the future world was plausable and not hackneyed or corny, and I wanted to stay and learn more. the Narrator's interpretations of the characters fit with what i envisioned. (im also reading the physical book simultaneously and using it for reference of futurepast incidents.)

Really great storey, inventive idea too.

I read a lot of science fiction and time travel. This was a great concept where the person is traveling back in time one day at a time and trying to prevent a major catastrophe. The interaction with the hacker she knew in college was really fun as one of them got more comfortable with the other, the first got less comfortable because to them this just started. It was very sad when they passed the first day of working with the hacker too. I look forward to more stories from R.A. Sinn!

Too much woke agenda for me.

I was really in to the code writing, gamer aspect of accidental time travel. Then it went left, pretty hard. I tried. I really did. But it is insanely woke and anti-God or faith etc. I made it a little over 1/2 way through.
The lesbian thing came out of no where, but I could deal with that, it was set in San Francisco future. Then the hating on God, and believers, and hating on non-vaxers and constant pushing of a future being soo awful w/out government control... too much.
I was disappointed because the writing itself was good. Just over the top with agendas.
