So worth the read!!!!

I have enjoyed listening to this book many times and always enjoy it and learn something new. It is read by author with much enthusiasm unlike some robotic voices in some books I have purchased. She also has another book that is excellent, Mom On The Run that I also highly recommend.

educational

Very well written book, with lots of ideas to help with being prepared, if there is a disaster. Not doomsday, just prepared! I appreciated that!

Not what I expected

I was expecting this to be a book about how she went a year without going to a grocery store. It has some good tips and tricks for food storage and preparedness but the title of the book is for sure deceiving.

Informative book but no recipes included

The website address did not lead to the pdf file of recipes. I thought the book was informative and helpful though.

Practical and useful

Was a good read (listen). The advice made several suggestions I hadn't considered,

A lot of "preppers" around me are going to be shocked when they realize they didn't plan to cook their food. Storing it is not enough.

Was a good book.

Not terrible but not the best

I thought this book is encouraging and can help get you on the path of food storage. However there is a huge error in what she calls conventional seeds saying that you cannot just save seeds from them and grow plants next year. That is 100% not true. You can buy a pack of non-heirloom seeds from dollar tree and you can save the seeds from those plants . You may not get a plant that is the same but a tomato will be a tomato. I feel like for someone who is telling everyone they need to grow a garden that is a huge bit of miss information to be spreading

.pdf does not work

I love listening to audiobooks, but the downside is not having things like the recipes available to look at. I am never listening when I would be able to jot a recipe down. The .pdf of recipes would be a definite plus if the link worked.
