About this listen

Varg is getting to know this world, and he likes it more and more, despite the dangers lurking around every corner. But what if the gnomes make an incursion and take everything and anything away to their world, including humans, whom they consider fair game?

This book will include new tasks and new worlds into which the System will throw him. For example, a world inhabited by abominable snakes, or an elven world in which Varg will receive a valuable prize. Also appearing in our world will be necromancers.

Many adventures lie ahead for him, for he is Varg, and he thinks he will cope admirably with any difficulty.

I don’t know why some authors seem to think that at that if they end a book with a cliffhanger they can drag the reader back for the next book. This tactic can work for an extremely good book series, but for only a moderate good book series it is only a lame tactic that can easily pisses off the readers. This is the primary reason I only gave this book three stars.

Sure, I may come back to this series at some point in the future, but I’m in no hurry. There are too many other good book series out there that I can spend my time with. Many of those series don’t feel the need to end one of the books with lame cliffhanger to try to draw the reader back.

A very lame ending!
