An excellent resource

I love that this book doesn't just take teenagers into account but specifies that parents play a role in this too. It can be difficult for both parties to see eye to eye, but the tips provided within this book are practical and extremely useful to both parents and teens.

An invaluable audiobook for parents of teens

Anger is a transient emotion that masks injured feelings... amazing! This audiobook is extremely powerful. At a time when teens are witnessing and experiencing increased anger, this audiobook is timely and invaluable, not only for teens but also for their parents. And as the parent of a teen girl who displays anger at times, I am particularly grateful for this information which has helped me to understand the potential reasons for her anger. I realize that I may need to regulate my behavior in my attempt to alleviate the situation. There is so much to learn here.

The Not-so-easy Years

The teenage years are never easy. Teenagers frequently experience high levels of emotions, particularly rage. Teenagers hurt themselves, push other people, say cruel things, and other things to vent their wrath. Teenagers should read this book, I advise them, because it will provide them with a road map to a more tranquil life.

Great book to start making changes

This book is a great guide when you are in the midst of issues with your teen. The author provides realistic steps and information to help reduce fighting and anger between the parent and teen. I really liked how the author talked about yoga and how doing yoga can really start to shift how your child looks at you and provides the parent with an activity they can do with their teen.

What a great book for my kids

My kids and I listened to this book while running errands over the weekend. What a great book. There is so much useful information about physical and mental development through the teen years and how that affects their mood. We listened to several chapters and then discussed while at the grocery store. Then we listened to several more chapters and discussed while at the park. Thank you for creating such a wonderful resourse!
