About this listen

An action-packed apocalyptic LitRPG perfect for fans of Solo Leveling, Super Supportive, and Iron Prince!

The stronger his opponent, the harder he hits.

Saving an innocent from a drug-crazed superhuman should've left Nil broken. Instead, it wins him the Nexus' attention.

Nil is done feeling small and watching his family scrape by. He now has the opportunity to make a difference.

Apocalypse Arena holds the key; where the multiverse's champions battle and keep the Scourge at bay. Pain, death, and heartbreak await all who run the gauntlets, but Nil has what it takes to grapple his way to the top.

The multiverse is watching, and he'll be damned sure to give them a show. Perhaps even knock out a God.

Don't miss the start of an action-packed new Apocalypse LitRPG Adventure from bestselling author J Pal. Featuring a unique System that fuses LitRPG, Cultivation and super powers along with gladiator fights, battle royales and other combat games where death is always a possibility.

It's perfect for fans of

An Interesting Start

Story: Interesting story combining near-future Earth technological and societal progression years after inter-dimensional magic is introduced to the world. Only some individuals are able to access it and, as one would expect, there are those out to monetize it, those out for power, and those who just want to keep those important to them safe. While I did not always agree with the MC's decisions, the thought processes were well explained and understandable. The mix of modern-to-high technology with the superpower-like abilities that the Summoned gain and the more fantasy-esque other worlds to which they sometimes travel makes for an intriguing plotline. The stat elements of LitRPG are there, but kept to a reasonable minimum while showing the relative progression of the MC over time.

Narrator: Miles Meili does a great job narrating and providing different voices and, where appropriate, accents for the various characters. This helps differentiate and identify them easily. The right emphasis and emotion is provided throughout.

Overall: Kept my attention and I will be watching for more in the series!

Wow soooooooo good! So sit back, watch Nil as he steps into the gauntlet!

As follow Nil as he step into nthe gauntlet. He's taken to the Nexus' where he gains a caseworker to help him adjust to the new challenging life he's accepted. And she's gonna help him get stronger and level. He also knew that getting this, would protect his family and cover the rising costs of day to day living! And Nil is all about keeping his family safe. Nil also discovers that he's not goin crazy that the image of his dead girl friend is not a figment that he's made up, not a haunting he's imagined for the last 7 years but a partial corrupted soul weapon that... ummm, fortunately for him he can't use, so the damage isn't reprehensible yet, and eventually will be safe enough to use... give or take a few curses! This opens so many avenues for Nil and he starts getting into a friendship with Katherine, Katie. And of course Andrew is still his best bud, bro! Willing to help him get into the big leagues and fight in the Apocalypse Arena!
So yeah go snatch this book and sit back for the wild ride!
Yeah the reason why I only give the performance 4⭐'s was just that I didn't like his voice as much as other narrators... that and the fact that for reason the audiobook is missing the epilogue! Crazy right?

Good start.

I am a sucker for gladiatorial fighting. Don’t be fooled by the title, there is more to it than that. The world/universe that the story takes place in feels expansive and is interesting. There is plenty of combat and a cool progression system. The narration is really good.

Shouldn’t be compared to Solo Leveling

Poorly written. Some parts make me believe this was written by a junior higher trying to get their word count in. Useless details that add nothing to the story. To compare this to solo leveling or any series like that is like comparing a tree to a fence post.
