About this listen

You know what they say about wine, right? It gets better with age.

Christian: Assistant to the General of Fort Dale isn’t the easiest job, but I love it. Making General Winter’s life easier is worth every bit of hassle. He’s a good man, and I respect him…a lot. Of course, I’m toeing the line because, God, he’s hot, too. Sure, he’s a lot older than me, but I know how to behave and our relationship is strictly professional…until I stumble across an email, with a video! Then suddenly, everything is different.

David: I’ve seen everything in my time running Fort Dale. It comes with the territory, being the big man on top. After almost 10 years, I honestly believe the hardest thing in my life is being tempted by my extremely capable, good looking, and very young assistant. No, not going there, that’s a really bad idea! Things get worse when a ghost from my past shows up with blackmail on his mind, and suddenly…Christian is by my side. That’s when everything changes.

A relationship between them is taboo, forbidden. David is 20 years older and he’s Christian’s boss. Worse, he’s the General and it could ruin them both! Could they keep their feelings a secret? No one would find out…would they?

this book was Great and I LOVED THE NARRATOR!

There were 3 things that brought this book to my attention ....
One. The NARRATOR
Two: The fact that it is a MILITARY book
Three: its is a Romance.
this book was amazing I loved the plot. only thing I wish was different was that it is longer and held more detailed on the end and their relationship after everything.

Cute! Cute! Cute!

Who helps General Winter keep his work life in order and makes life easier? Christian. He's always on top of his game and makes sure things go smoothly for his boss no matter what.

David Winter at 47 likes his women a little older but his men younger. Running himself ragged to keep his troops on the right track and trying to move his chess pieces in the right order to achieve his ideal end goal is not easy. especially when someone is trying to blackmail you. But here comes Christian to the reduce.

Christian and David are so adorable together. My favorite part of this book is when they're having lunch together and telling each other things about their lives. This book also made me laugh and had way more humor then I expected. I love this whole series so far.

Really Good Story !

Although I typically like longer, more in depth audible books I was pleasantly surprised by At My General’s Command . There is intrigue and schmexy times and a very sweet honest adult relationship that blooms ! I definitely recommend

A good conclusion

I very much liked how Romeo and John wrapped up this series. personally I would have punched a certain person but that why I read not write these books. I highly recommend their work.

sweet and spicy....

...just like I like it. I loved David and Christian's story. The narrator gave the story unique voices. This book is the 4th in the series but the first I read. I didn't feel like was confused or missing pieces. In fact I'm going to go check out the series!

Enjoyable.

I enjoyed this story. It was cute. Both characters were interesting. The only issue I have is that it took a little longer for the story to get going. somewhat of a slow burn which I don't particularly care for. And, I was hoping for more of their story + a better ending. Still, it was a enjoyable listening, and that's because of Michael Ferriauolo, he did a really nice job with his narration and bringing the characters life. I'm new with these author but will checkout other books of theirs.
