Great breathing technique if you feel stressed

I love listening to this book. the breathing technique really works. keep in mind that you might feel your intercostal muscles getting sore. it is like a workout for those muscles.
I think the narrator nicely captured the mood of the author, Wim Hof.
remember to listen to his recommendation about taking it slow. I pushed myself a little bit with the cold showers and didn't feel so good.
other than the breathing technique, my favorite exercise was his stress relief breathing.

inhaling deeply and making a humming sound and focusing on the vibration in your mind. do it for one minute

Worth it just for the method

Highly recommend the first half for the method and science behind it! Now the second half unless you're into hippy wish based speculation and an origin story that will lower your opinion of the writer just go ahead and stop early.

Great book

This book feels like a gift. It isn’t complicated, and it’s a free and doable method that anyone could do. I enjoyed the tales of Wim and would recommend to anyone.

intrigued.

first let me say I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I am a Christian so there are some things that I look at differently but having said that, the method has intrigued me and I plan to do more searching towards this in the health benefits both physically and mentally. thank you.

Great Book - If you are looking to improve your health

I have incorporated the breath work and cold showers into my every-day routine and I feel great. I was terrified of the showers and can now do several minutes easily!

Great Dive into the Wim Hof Method

Great info throughout if you’re interested in getting into cold thermogenesis and breath control for all aspects of life.
At some points it seemed a little “sales-pitchy” with all of the personal experiences throughout but I assume it’s mostly for folks who have never heard of or experienced the REAL change this type of work can do for you. Start today, highly recommend 🤘🏼
