About this listen

C.A.E.C.O. is book 15 in best-selling author John Conroe's Demon Accords series.

Combat is literally her middle name. Chimeric Adaptive Enhanced Combat Operator - but now Caeco Jensen - works for the FBI, building a new life and trying to learn from a painful past. It’s hard to fit in when you are one of a kind, but maybe, just maybe, there’s a place for her in this world. That is, if threats from off planet don’t ruin it first. Forging and protecting a new future with a her unique skillset won’t be easy, maybe almost as hard as making new friends.

I wasn't sure I would be interested in a novel that focused on a secondary character like Caeco, but I was so wrong. Another winner!!

Conroe and Cronin are THE BEST!!

Another good book in a good series. If you have listened so far you know what to expect. Caeco and her new boss go looking for Vorsook hijinks ensue. I dont get the Caeco hate from the negative reviews. She is better written than Stacia as MC in Rogues. Omega is present throughout with guest appearances of Declan and company. The one knock I have is JPC doesnt really have a unique voice for Caeco. It's slight enough I had trouble telling who was talking from time to time.

Great!

John Conroe is a wonderful wordsmith. His prose are always on point and this is another example of him backing away from the story and infusing it with with more flavor. I will read anything he writes.

He writes so well!

If the narrator coy pronounce all of the words properly the would be a 5,5,5 star rating.

Excellent book and series.

I have to admit I bit leery about the this book. But I should have known... C.A.E.C.O. is definitely a character with much more depth than I imagined easily able to stand on her own as a main character. I'm excited to see how the addition of the Chinese agent will enhance the series more. I absolutely love this series above every other and can't wait to see what's next.

Another awesome addition to series

I loved this book. I actually listened to it twice. I loved the look into C A.E.C.O. and look forward to more about her and PHAN.

CAECO has never been my favorite character and I put this book off for a while though I’ve been a big fan of the series since the beginning. I really did enjoy the book. Hearing Caeco’s viewpoint was enlightening in many ways not only giving depth to her character but insights into others. Don’t pass this book by in the series because like me you four CAECO meh in previous books. She comes into her own and has great potential besides just a side character but a big role in the endgame.

Surprisingly good

Easily one of the best books in the series so far. I thoroughly enjoyed the detail and thought put into every line.

One of the best

I could have gone without seeing C.A.E.C.O. in any future Demon Accords books. I was completely shocked to see the next Demon Accords book focused on her, and really had no desire to listen to it. I'm glad I did. C.A.E.C.O was actually a pretty entertaining character to follow along with. It was also nice getting a fresh perspective of what other people within the world are doing to keep up the fight, while Chris, Declan and company are off doing their things. If you are a Demon Accords fan, and are hesitant to pick this one up because C.A.E.C.O. hasn't been the most likable person in past books.., give it a try. I think you'll enjoy the C.A.E.C.O that is in this one.

Pleasantly surprised
