About this listen

The gods never should have opened Pandora's Box...

Nate Temple has been abducted by Zeus and is thrown into the middle of an Olympian family feud that could very well kick off the Omega War all by itself.

There is one weapon that Zeus believes will turn the tide. Pandora's Box. But his neglect left it on earth for far too long, and Pandora has found a new master to serve. Nate Temple.

Because Zeus put one thing inside the box that he never should have...hope.

And hope is a dangerous thing to leave unattended...

Nate will need every ally and every tool at his disposal to have a chance at surviving. The only problem is that none of those allies have any idea where he is, but they're scouring the world to find him. Before it's too late.

The only way out of this insanity is for Nate to face old demons, unite old friends, and outmaneuver plans that have spanned decades. The Dread Four must ride to save their brother, the Horseman of Hope, or everything will burn.

Even if they win, everything might just burn all the same. But will it burn with hope...or despair?

Every great author has one of thes

I will say that this series is on my top 5 out there right now. The problem I have with this book is that the main character is stuck in a sort of a stagnant place for more than half the book. It reminds me of the book Ghost in the Dresden series. I felt like the book could have been cut in half and got the same message of the book out. It just seemed stretched.

Nate Temple

Oh wow, what a world wind of a story. Nate learns a lot about himself and love. This world is an amazing meld of pantheons and characters. A bit of a slow start, which is unusual for Silvers, but well worth the build up for the ending that throws painbows in your face! Richards does an amazing job with all the voices and emotions, love the whole series!

Possibly the best so far.

Shayne Silvers once again brings Nate Temple and the Templeverse to new heights of adventure. In Carnage many questions are answered and new and exciting avenues are opened up. An excellent read!

Just amazing!

Another fantastic read. Just when I think this series can't have any more twists and turns Shayne punches me in the mouth!

Awesome

I RARELY review a book, but I felt compelled to write something this time.
The book is just great , start to finish. There is so much I want to say, but I do not wan to give anything away. However, this answers some question, but it also makes a long awaited statement, which was a long time coming.
I think this might be the meat Temple book yet.

Magic, Mayhem, Violence, Love with a little Hope!

It's like the notebook, only better, and with a lot of violence, snark and sarcasm! Oh, and don't forget magic and carnage topped off with a little Hope for good measure. The way every love story should be!

(Some) storylines get wrapped up!

You know the story isn’t finished, but it was nice for them to wrap up some storylines. Too many books in this genre keep dragging it out. This series got close but hit a home run with this one.
