About this listen

A stunning new approach to how individuals can not only change their lives for the better in the workplace, but also their lives away from the office, including (but not limited to) finding ways to improve one's working relationship with others, one's overall health, outlook on life, and so on.

For example, why is it that 95% of all diet attempts fail? Why do New Year's Resolutions last no more than a few days? Why can't people with good intentions seem to make consistent and positive strides in the way they want to improve their careers, financial fitness, physical fitness, and so on?

Based upon the latest research in a number of psychological and medical fields, the authors of Change Anything will show that traditional will-power is not necessarily the answer to these strivings, that people are affected in their behaviors by far more subtle influences. Change Anything shows how individuals can come to understand these powerful and influential forces, and how to put these forces to work in a positive manner that brings real and meaningful results.

The authors present an array of everyday examples that will change and truly empower you to reexamine the way you go about your business and life.

Debunks willpower. Great listen!

Would you listen to Change Anything again? Why?

Great how it is.

Any additional comments?

This book shows how we can fight battles with with tangible tools and teaches how to use them. Willpower is only a nebulous theory that I can't quite get hold of. Now I know why.

Change - Paint-by-the-Numbers

Actually, the book tells me things that I have been aware of for - well - ever, but the topic is bundled in such a way that I am seeing change in a different light. Here the listener will get a framework from which change can be made. This is a practical, psychologically sound, pattern changing approach to improving life, work, and what ever you want to approach behaviorally. The book presents six sources of influence on our lives, and then individual chapters detail how those influencers can be manipulated to our advantage. This is a very helpful book. Consider reading it soon - unless you procrastinate and this book will help you once you open volume! The writing is engaging and the reading of Joseph Grenny (the second author) is very good.

Lots of shameless plugs by decent content

I've taken off points because they constantly reference a website with "exclusive content" that does not exist. The website redirects to there facebook page.

Overall theory and applicable guidelines are good.

No DONT DO IT! Do not browse anymore books because you're done! Do you want self development?

This book truly defines the genre of self development. In this incredible book, the authors write in such a language that is very easy to understand, with background stories or parables to help deepen the understanding in even greater detail.
Favorite thing: There is no wishy washy magic fairyland twinklin toe magic formula to use in changing a bad habit (we all have them admit it, esp me.) I've been looking for that majestic formula or 1 easy solution to improve myself. Every single person is an individual. There is no person EXACTLY like you out there. The point; this book helps you to understand yourself better as a person. It's packed full of success stories, and imperative strategies for not just self development, but addiction recovery, or trying to lose wait, etc. There is also a website that has a code contained in the book packed full of information with tips, ideas, and strategies that you tweak everyday consistently, until you accomplish your goal!
Don't like: only thing; book is not long enough because it's so good.
This is my first rating ever and I never rate or care to rate books. Well that was until I ran into this one.
