If you want your imployees in your company do something, this book is for it.

This is influence in situation that you have CONTROL over the environment of people.

It gives you six dimensions of human psychology to increase the probability of change, thus you influence people.

This book is valuable to whoever is a boss somewhere.

It gives relevant psychological studies so I believe it is legit.

THIS IS NOT a leadership book, I would not mark it as such since you need to think about the issue greatly and develop a plan so the influence will work, this you will hardly do in a realtime. You could say it helps in leadership, AFTER you made your plan, based on the model the book gives you, since people will naturally want to do what you say since it works on their psychology.

But this is not like INSTANT influence or Magnetism for leadership, not this sort of thing.

I had read the text version, probably the first or second edition. Listening to the Audible version was VERY good! Just a great overview of influencing our collective human behavior! SO relevant!

I was expecting it to be as dreading as the crucial conversations book (maybe it was dreading because I was forced to read it) but not this one. This book has nice practical examplesuuu and don’t feel like everything is life or death. The assessment and the 6 motivation sources seem clear as a con do and practical to use.
