About this listen

All I wanted to do was see my escape room business succeed, but then a friggin’ demon showed up in Boston to tear my place apart, and I ended up tumbling into another world.

One I’ve actually heard of.

Now, I’m fighting my way through Asgard with the survivors of Ragnarok, and I’ve somehow gained some pretty wild shifter powers. It looks like these people could use a guy as clever as me if they wanna stay alive, but my wits aren’t the only thing I’m bringing to the table.

It’ll take that and a lot more to survive in this demon-infested world, but I’ve always thrived in a bit of chaos.

Disclaimer: This is a harem series.

Male narrators

Is it like a requirement for all male narrators in this genre to have a lissssssp? Like all of them have the same speech impediment.

A bit of a mix of good and bad overall

I've liked Eric Vall books since I've listened to all of his "Summoner" series that was pretty entertaining. This series is new to the block for the author and for the most part keeps a entertaining story. The explicit sex scenes are what many people like Valls novels for, and he does a pretty good job on them in this one. There's fine line between not enough and too much, and i think he found a good balance in this book. Storywise its basically a isekai with protagonist being thrown into a another world and gets a unique power. The story itself is a bit weak in my opinion, mainly because its too shallow, like I could have come up with this plot in middle school, and there isn't any depth to lore or multiple elements playing out in this storyline. The main character Levi, is a bit aggravating to me and sounds like dumb hot topic employee in a certain sense. Vall tries to makes him sound smart sometimes but he falls flat ultimately. Alura, the main girl in this book is the best thing about it. She was performed quite well and given a good script. Vall could a take a note off her and use that elegance with the rest of his writing. As with the rest of Vall's book I would say he's a definitely a good storyteller, but a mediocre writer. I enjoy the plots he weaves but the execution is crass and basic. Also the finale in this book (i won't spoil it) was far too lazy. No good twist, and the "battle" was disappointing.

Awesomeness and new look!

Awesomeness and new look. I love the tale after Ragnorak and the survival of those left. The new hero doing typical things to better the needy. MC powers are awesome along withthe story! I really enjoyed and look forward to next adventure!!
