Alex's life was fairly simple, work during the day and enjoy some sweet RPG's by night. Out of nowhere, he's whisked away to a fantasy world with game-like stats, monsters that drop loot, gorgeous mages, and a Dungeon to explore.
With only the clothes on his back and a single skill bestowed upon him, he has to survive this new world and forge a new life for himself.
And perhaps work on getting a harem while he’s at it.
Authors note: Inspired by light novels, RPG's and mangas. Contains Isekai, light LitRPG/ Gamelit stats, dungeons, magic, and a touch of tropes.

I finally took the plunge and I should’ve taken it earlier

Story - Interesting story line, but I would have loved to stop having everything in the MC life compared to a video game. If someone payed me a dime every time the MC compared the world to a game back home the book would have payed for itself. Also the MC must be wearing his MC badge on his sleeve because without really trying all the girls want him. It is definitely hard to believe the reactions. He doesn't out right OP things so despite his skill which is at least good.
Magic - Doesn't get a lot of explanation on how things work magickly but there is no levels only stats. People can work up stats slowly and get stronger. The MC has an easy Cheat which still works as he still struggle with things.
Narration - both Narrators did a great job.
The absent minded hero and his horny duchesses.

Granted, these women are hilariously transparent and manipulative, but that actually makes them feel more believable as people, and makes the complete 180 they make feel earned, especially at the close of the book.
The story structure and escalating threats faced by our heroes is certainly a delight to experience, but it’s pretty hard to not draw comparisons to similar stories. I feel this does enough to differentiate itself from the crowd to merit interest and investment in the world being built.
I don’t know if there are plans to release the next two novels as audiobooks, but I would like that to be the case.

I also agree with a review I read; shared that they enjoyed the fact the hero actually follows through on the flirting and seduction by acting on real life feeling’s instead of an impractical amount of fan service without any fruits.
No I guess it is counterintuitive to say the story is more realistic due to the harem actually being…uhh consummated?
Just confirm your purchase and enjoy the ride.
