There are many different styles to work effectively with students. This book is full of ideas to help any teacher's style especially when working with difficult students. I like the way this book focusses on building positive relationships with students and working from there to help students succeed. Having this book in audio form is convenient, so while driving to my school, I can be listening and possibly get an idea I could use in class that day to help my students succeed. Of the many books on the market designed to help teachers improve their game, this author seems to speak to me.

A teacher's job is not easy. Parents understood it much better in the time of pandemic. They realised how free they were when their kids were educated and developed at schools - with only some small help from their side. And the teachers themselves have known that for a long time. ALL the time they were spending - trying to manage in the best possible way the teaching-learning process in the classroom. The situation in the classroom may be tough, and not all teachers can cope with it. They are at a loss where to move and what to resort to. This great book can give you a clear path which is not difficult to follow. There is nothing really extraordinary in the approach - but it works because it changes the starting point, the very beginnings of the relationship between pupils and teachers. And that's the clue! What is more, the book develops the main idea (approach) with a lot of useful practical tecniques, tools, and tips. Using the book, the teachers can avoid many problems and save a lot of time, energy, and, most importanly, health. Surely, a MUST, especially for young teachers!

If you already know that fostering positive relationships with students is important and getting to know your students is also important, you don’t need to read and pay for this book. Author repeats what teachers are told by administrators “make connections, be friendly, build relationships.” I believe these are important but not necessary a classroom management system!
