About this listen

Amanda: A century ago, a gentle blind girl walked the cliffs of Paradise Point. Then the children came - taunting, teasing - until she lost her footing and fell, shrieking her rage to the drowning sea...

Michelle: Now Michelle has come from Boston to live in the big house on Paradise Point. She is excited about her new life, ready to make new friends...until a hand reaches out of the swirling mists - the hand of a blind child. She is asking for friendship...seeking revenge...whispering her name...

I've always loved this book.

Loved it, narrator was very good. Read this book years ago before my brain injury occurred.

Perfect horror

I remember reading this book when I was a teenager. It was just as scary today as it was so many years ago!!

All that I remembered and more!

I read this book (and his many others) during my preteen and teen years (now in my 40s). My favorite author! It was so great to revisit this story as it was my first of his! I’ll continue my journey down memory lane with these fantastic tales!

Childhood favorite

I read this when I was about 12 or 13 years old and it has stayed with me 30 years! Vising this classic through Audible it was beyond in the drawing and well worth the credit

Good Book, Not so Good Narration

Loved the book when I read it years ago. Story still was entertaining and captivating, but the narrator made it really challenging to enjoy.

still as good as I remembered

I've been revisiting books I read as a teenager, and am so glad I remembered this one. Very unique interesting plot that keeps you listening. The narrator did a good job.

10 hours of my life I will never get back

I so wanted to like this book. The plot drug on and on and led absolutely nowhere, in the end leaving me confused and sorry I wasted my time.
