The fourth and penultimate volume of Corsairs & Cataclysms.

(The first third of this book follows Jackson Templeton in Pandaemonium before reverting to Torin Carter in Stormblade Harbour.)

Torin has been victorious against his self-proclaimed arch-enemy Luca Gattosi. The Brotherhood of the Lion's Claw has fallen. All of their territory had been absorbed into the Shattered Storm's growing empire.

This has not come without a cost. Torin is suffering from a prolonged debuff that endangers his life and he has put his trust in the young Jackson to act on his behalf and further the Shattered Storm's ends in Pandaemonium.

Worse, Ashli managed to get a fragment of itself out into the world. The fragment's orders are to rebuild a body fit for a God to rule over the Darkwyrlds with an iron fist. If this was not enough to worry about, Richard Reynolds, the former Governor of Michigan is at large and he has plans of his own that will impact upon Torin and the rest of the world.

I think this is one of the more original series like this that I have come across in the litrpg genre. I enjoy the plot, storytelling and characters

Another good book in this series

This was a book that I wished didn't end. Can't wait for the next book

Love the series. It's unique and fun with Great characters and good pacing. The male characters are all well done. The female performer is not good. Her new female love interests all start off sounding like Patty from the Simpsons, then somehow magically change as the books go one. She has very limited range, and is a bad audio actor. 0/5 on her. She almost ruins the books

Love this series. Wish a better female performer had been chosen to voice the female charcters.

I know there is a warning excerpt in the blurb about the first third of the book, but it affected my enjoyment. I don't care about these secondary characters enough to only follow them or get such a large chunk of the book solely dedicated to them. The book after the first third was enjoyable, but it took me quite a while to even make it there because I was so detached from the way the book started. I hope this isn't a continuing trend for the series.

Not as enjoyable as previous books.

the first part of this book is from Jackson's perspective and it is boring. don't know why it was added. on top of that this is the shortest of the 4 books out so far and a third was wated on Jackson, I feel a little cheated out of my credit. apart from the Jackson perspective the book was fun and moved at a fast pace. Not a fan of the female narrator

not as good as previous books.
