About this listen

Bound to a man she hates more than she ever thought possible...

Everything Morgan Pendragon knows and loves is gone as she wakes in the dangerous court of the Siabra. The man she was falling in love with is dead, and in his place is a man she barely knows. Surrounded by liars and knives in the dark, all Morgan wants to do is run the other way but Kairos Draven is determined to keep her by his side.

As Morgan and Draven's lives become even more irrevocably entwined, little do they know the sins of the past are coming for them both…

For the Prince of Claws will drown kingdoms in blood for her sake.

Forced plot device of enemies to lovers

morgan has no common sense. its clear the author is trying to follow many tropes to sell the book. its a shame.. the world building is good, but the main character is quite despicable

Not predictable

The story is refreshing and suspenseful. It isn’t like the original story of King Arthur, but it is at the same time.

So whiny

Morgan is being so whiny and petulant, I thought she was supposed to be 20 not 5. So self righteous and works hard to misunderstand and the tantrums….. Why does she always have to be panicking, angry, whiny, worried or be responding with a pissy/childish remark? Yet the male lead is so patient and attracted to her? Why?!? I hate not finishing a series but I may need to take a break from the constant stubbornness and complaining

Couldn’t stop listening!

Love this series and the narrator. She does an excellent job depicting the different characters and I could listen to her voice all day

The narrator is amazing

I absolutely loved this narrator. However, this MFC is driving me absolutely insane. Her stupid temper tantrums and her immaturity is too much for me. There was absolutely no character growth and she was constantly making hysterical/overly emotional almost Borderline Personality Disorder decisions. I also feel as though it was stuffed full of as many tropes as they could possibly fit into the story. There was no building of their relationship in this book, and the spicey scenes happened at random. Yes it was a “slow burn” But with absolutely no build up. So when it did happen it wasn’t satisfying at all. It’s sad because I absolutely loved the first book and honestly the storyline in the background was amazing. But Morgan isn’t developing and evolving as a character. She’s being a whiny child not the strong female character that she was supposed to be.

Absolutely outstanding!!

I loved this book but am so unhappy with the narrator for the next book. They should have never changed the narrators!! Too early for me to leave a review on next book but male voice is way too slow and doesn’t keep the mental picture of the bold and brave Draven. Not proceeding with series. Can’t listen to book three.

The narrator's proforance is one of the best I have heard so far!

I loved the story but the narrator was definately what made this stand out. With her drastic voice changes and emotional tones it was easy to follow which characters were talking and really picture the story playing out as if on a stage. Fantastic job Zara!!!
