Great plot and romance!

I didn't like how long it took the characters to figure some things out or how they didn't anticipate certain things but that's a frustration of mine with a lot of books. Overall this is a great series and I highly recommend!

What the hell…

Ok…who did the editing. It repeats sentences or just cuts dialogue mid sentence and head to the next chapter. This is unacceptable. I didn’t even finish. I have to go get the book. But with me not even finishing the audio the main characters started kind stupid. Knowing everything they know and all the enemies they have they just never seem to grasp the scope of the situation until it’s too late. And the male narrator needs to relax. Like he is too intense. The vibes between when the female reads his voice and him reading are two different people. He seems to be yelling all the time. I’m not saying he is not a good narrator but he should have listened the energy the prior narrator was giving and followed suit. He just came in like a bull in a china shop and killed the entire vibe. He needs to have a glass of wine, relax and then read. Every word should not feel like the sky is falling. Even him reading the closing credits was much too much….😂

Loved the series

I loved the story and the performances of both narrators. They did an outstanding job. Zackary was awesome. He was passionate about the role and it really showed. Some revisa la did not like his performance and I am glad I did not pay attention to them. I am glad I decided to listen for myself and so glad I did. Can’t wait to listen to more books.

Definitely read this series!

Other than the very explicit sexual scenes this book was amazing. I did find myself skipping through those as it did not make the story any more interesting. The story continues from the three books and our heroin grows into such a strong loving soul. Her relationships along the way are fun to read, and her love is true. My favorite was the ending and how all fell in place. Not to give it away but it was a happy ending.

Horrible sound editing

The sound editing for this audio book was disappointingly substandard, with numerous missing parts and repeated sections. The overall sound quality fell below expectations, hampering the immersive experience. To compensate for the skipped content, I resorted to consulting the Kindle version of the book, which proved to be a challenge as I prefer audio books due to difficulty with reading physical copies. Despite these setbacks, I find immense joy in listening to books narrated by the exceptionally talented Kasi Hollowell. Her flawless execution of character portrayals never fails to impress. Furthermore, the storyline of this particular book is both easily comprehensible and exhilarating to delve into. However, I must admit that the male narrator did not meet the same level of excellence as Kasi Hollowell.

Character development

Great book I enjoyed the fire wolf appearance, the beginning of the audio it repeated sentences though or skipped abruptly without finishing but overall everything was amazing

The male narrator has redeemed himself. (mostly)

In the 3rd book they introduced a male narrator and it was.... bad. The quality sounded like it was recorded in a tin can and the voice he chose was SO cringy. I said I was going to return and just read it on Kindle but I suffered through it since I was already halfway through. Then, in the 4th book he apparently took allll the criticism, fixed his audio quality, and wasn't as weird/cringy. The only downside was the yelling. I get that it says the character is yelling, but going from softly murmuring the characters thoughts to legitimately SCREAMING in my ears is sooo fucking intense. When I read my daughter stories and do voices etc I just pitch my voice in a way to intonate that the character is yelling or screaming. I don't literally scream. at her. Lol. Just throwing that out there if the narrator reads this. There is a way to just raise your voice SLIGHTLY and insinuate whatever feeling the character is displaying without bursting everyone's ear drums. I was cooking dinner with an earbud in my right ear and literally burned my hand because I jerked so hard to the my left. I was just so startled and it's instinct to try to get away from the sound except the ear bud was in my ear and I couldn't. 🙃 You can't just turn the volume down though because of the murmuring thoughts and narration. So it's either miss an important part of the story or VERY carefully try to listen to it and destroy your eardrums. Lol. Once again I have LOVED this story/series but oh my goodness. Do people not check their audios before releasing?
