About this listen

From best-selling indie author and TikTok favorite Laura Thalassa comes a witch fantasy set in the world of the Bargainer series.

At age 20, Selene Bowers desperately hopes to be accepted into Henbane Coven, an academy for young witches. Since one of the requirements for entry is to connect with her powers via a quest through the wilderness, Selene books a trip to South America. When a nefarious supernatural force tries to drag her plane from the sky, Selene's magic awakens to save her life—at a cost. Using her powers devours her memories, one by one.

Worse, when Selene braves the jungle and discovers the source of the attack, she finds herself awakening an ancient evil, Memnon the Cursed, who mistakes Selene for his long-dead wife. The wife who betrayed him. Selene manages to escape and begin her studies at Henbane, but when Memnon turns up at the coven and witches are found dead across campus, Selene becomes entangled in a dangerous plot. Accused of the murders on the basis of her memory loss, Selene must rely on Memnon's help for answers and his plans for her will change everything.

The book and the audio - both spectacular

If you were to take the magical university and witchy vibes from Harry Potter but make it college, the "oops I just resurrected a mummy" vibes from The Mummy and the memory loss issues from 50 first dates....yoou would get this book.

I was completed enthralled by this book and read it in a single setting. Laura Thalassa just has a way of captivating readers with atmospheric settings, action packed sequences and characters that keep you guessing and have you swinging between love and hate the whole story.

Such a fun read!

I wasn't sure what to expect here. This was my first book by Laura, and it certainly won't be my last. Lots of witchy goodness! Selene's magic has a cost. Each time she uses it, she loses a memory. She keeps journals to remind her of what's going on in her life and important things. But then she ends up setting Memnon free and her life goes haywire. Some serious hate to love romance keeps you wondering throughout the entire book whether they're actually mated or total enemies. Can't wait to see where the story goes from here!

Stella Bloom continues to be one of my FAVES❤️

"Bewitched" by Laura Thalassa deserves every bit of its five-star rating. From the captivating storyline to the richly developed characters, this book is a spellbinding read. Selene and Memnon's journey is one filled with intrigue, danger, and unexpected twists, keeping readers on the edge of their seats from start to finish.

But what truly elevates this audiobook experience is Stella Bloom's outstanding narration. Her ability to bring the story to life and convey the emotions of the characters is nothing short of remarkable. Bloom's performance immerses listeners in the world of witches and ancient evils, making every moment feel vivid and real.

While the audiobook is already a standout with Stella at the helm, the suggestion of duet narration for future adaptations would undoubtedly enhance the experience even further. "Bewitched" is a must-listen for fans of paranormal romance, and I can't recommend it enough.

Being that I have nothing published, I will reserve my opinion. Completing a book is to be commended

I like the carrying on with a story that stood on a loose foundation to begin with. I wish I had such tenacity. 👍

Very slow…

I had high hopes for this story… I was disappointed that this was such a slow story that never felt fully developed.

13 hours and NOOOOO s*x???

Did I really just sit through 13 hours with NO s*x scene?!? I want my time back. Too many near misses and arguing about the same point. And we still don't know why he was cursed?!? This is the first Thalassa book I wouldn’t recommend.

Laura Thalassa does it again!

Another book I cant stop thinking about. Literally checked every box in my opinion. Enemies to lovers, supernatural drama, who done it storyline, she really didn’t miss a single beat!
