Full of wisdom and motivation!

Great audiobook full of wisdom and great motivation! I must say, when I first started listening to this book, it felt a bit like common sense ideas to me. Saying that, I also must acknowledge that this was my first book of self affirmations and I was slightly biased as a man “like how is this book can really help me?”. It turns out it actually can! The book as you listen to it grows on you and starts to make an impact the more you listen to it. So much so that by the end of the book I saw a lot of wisdom and really deep thoughts within the affirmations I was listening to. So after finishing this book I have restarted it to listen to it again with an open mind and heart this time around, because those affirmations they really do make a difference when you listen to them and ponder upon them! I think this is a great book for our everyday lives filled with negativity, malice, cold heartedness and cynicism. Definitely a good buy for yourself or as a present! Just keep in mind you need to listen to it with an open mind and heart...

Embracing Imperfections to yield Self-Improvement

I liked Faulkner's audiobook because it had a fresh and inspiring way of doing affirmations. The narration was excellent, and the book helps readers feel at ease with imperfections while growing at a self pace. The daily affirmations were easy to understand but really powerful. I also liked how the author used reliable sources to support his ideas, making the book even more helpful.

Amazing book, needs a better reader

This is my second book by Clay Cowan and let me tell you that this man is a godsend. What a positive and helpful book this is. His style is straight forward and easy to understand. This is a book of affirmations, it is amazing he was able to think of this many positive affirmations and all of them are unique. This is a great thing to listen to for healing and self reprogramming. You can even put this on headphones as you sleep for positive programming if you so choose to do so and it works amazingly well. My only criticism is the person reading this one is not very good. He gets the job done, but it would be far better if Danny Swopes who read clay's 'reprogramming your subconscious mind" would have read this one as well. It would be great if Clay would redo this one with Danny. I would purchase it a second time.

Almost Hypnotic

As someone has been aware and had various practices of affirmations, I really enjoyed having this to listen to. The narration is almost robotic and hypnotic to a certain extent because instead of "I am" like I'm used to it's "You are" which was a nice change of pace. It felt like I was being instructed by my highest self to do/be/think in that way. I found it helpful, especially when I got to a chapter of something I could use some support in. So it's great that you can skip around or come back to something as needed with the well labeled chapters.
