Publisher's summary

My best friend’s little sister is the one woman I can never have yet the only one I’ve ever wanted.

For years, revenge has been my only obsession.

Until her.

I’m supposed to hate her. My father wants me to destroy her family just as hers destroyed mine. But the more Catherine James begs me to kiss her untouched lips, the more entangled our worlds become.

Although, she was meant to be revenge, she became my salvation. Falling for her is an inevitability.

Even if I accept that Catherine is the love of my life, will she love me when she learns the dirty truths?

Authors Note: Dirty Truths is a brother's best friend billionaire romance with Romeo and Juliet vibes. It is Book 1 of the Extra Dirty duet and not a standalone. For those that love T.L. Swan, Catharina Maura, Shain Rose and Sylvia Day.

Holy storytelling Batman! So good

Story: 14/10
Spice:5/5
Spice Hierarchy: Spicy
Narration: 5/5

Jay’s family and Cat’s family have been rivals for years. But these two have been written in the stars. If they can ever get past the revenge, families, lies, and hurt.

I loved this duet. Jay is gone for his woman. The entire time. I laughed more than I thought I would for all the angst between these two.

I loved getting Jay and Cat’s backstory that we missed from the Whiskey Duet (not necessary to read, but please don’t be a fool like me, read them).

Yes I was mad at Brittanee for how she ripped my heart out at the end of Dirty
Truths. Don’t worry, she is my friend and I let her know I still love her.

I thought I would be ok to relive parts from Whiskey. I was wrong. Now I’m getting hurt twice! It hurt when it was Grace and Cash and it hurts now when it’s Cat and Jay. I got mad at Jay. And I wanted to shake Cat. But they figure it out. EVENTUALLY! The angst she put me through with these two is not something I typically like. But gah, these two are worth it.

Brittanee is top tier when it comes to Easter eggs in her writing. I immediately become giddy.

Stella Bloom and Joe Arden deliver with this narration. You can hear love being portrayed as each character breaks and the other puts them back together. The sass both deliver with their sarcastic voices is exactly what is needed.

Outstanding

I loved this book. The fact that the whole thing was backstory was amazing! I can’t wait to see what happens when they catch up to real time. The narration was amazing and it drew me in so that I practically binged it in a day!

Prepare for this to take over your life

Y’all! I went into this duet audio version blind. Big BIG fan of Joe Arden. It took me several chapters to get used to Stella Bloom’s voice, but by halfway I couldn’t picture anyone else portraying Cat.

The chemistry, the HEAT, Joe Arden’s voice during those scenes, the heartbreak that comes and the shocks toward the end of book one have me so excited that part 2 is already available. Going to download now!

TOTALLY GUTTED! 😭

Brittanee Nicole you broke my HEART!!! After the first two whiskey books, I already somewhat knew the outcome for this one, but I am totally GUTTED!!! UGH!!! PLEASE let the next book have a happier ending!! My heart can’t handle it!! The Star-Crossed lovers was my life’s theme for so long…. This one opened up those scars!! SO GOOD, but SO HEARTBREAKING!!

Joe Arden stopped my heart dozens of times - his passion, anguish and playfulness is unrivaled! Stella Bloom puts so much heart into it, I can feel every emotion!!

On to the next one!!

Well holy hell. I knew after the Boston Billionaires series that Cat and Jay had an epic story to tell, but I never could have guessed anything correctly. The angst between these two is so freaking hot hot hot! My goodness. Someone get these two a room.

Cat and Jay meet with Cat is in collage, and is a bit less experienced than grown Cat we meet in the previous duet. Unless you unexpectedly grab her, than her right hook comes into play and all bets are off.

Jay is so lost in life, but doesn’t realize it. He needs a savior, someone to help pull him out of the dark. The problem is that she happens to be the daughter of his worst enemy.

That ending, I am heartbroken right now and need to keep listening for how the hell this resolves itself.
