The most horrifying episode yet!

Dark Adventure really did an amazing job bringing the most horrifying aspects of this stories to life. The witch's presence coming ever closer, the hideous Brown Jenkins, and the terrible climax of the story are all conveyed perfectly. This is the darkest episode DART has done yet and I love it!

Great production!

This is a fine dramatization of the H. P. Lovecraft story "Dreams in the Witch House." This story has a message - beware whom you give power to in your life.

Now, I'm off to find my next listen by the H. P. Lovecraft Historical Society!

Nice Work

I always love the fun nods to Miskatonic Professors including Armitage. I love Nate Ward as well. Keep going HPLHS!

Eerie Dreams Befall a Student

This was another fun episode of the wonderful Dark Adventure Radio Theater. A brilliant math student moves into an old building in a room formerly occupied by a witch and has unusual dreams. The production is superb, as is the voice cast. These are all so much fun to listen to. I have nearly all of them. Sit back, relax and enjoy!

Made the story come to life

Only someone with true understanding and dedication to HPL's work can produce such a stunning adaptation. Outlined by a brilliant framing device, enriched with well-researched history of math, HPLHS's production crew transformed one of HPL's less solid short stories into a touching piece, a vivid portrait to the minds of a tormented mathematician and his mourning friend. All the parts where HPL grazed over with exposition, this adaptation transformed into lively dialogues, all the while maintaining HPL's vision. The addition of the full-fledged character of Father Iwaniszki (as the framing device called for) is also very pleasant, no crowding out any of the main character's position, but enhancing the story and the theme in believable ways. Another masterpiece.

Fun, dramatic and intense!

Man, every single one of these I listen to is just fantastic. I would say this one, though really projected a lot of intense terror at the end. This was really accomplished through yes, the score, but really the voice acting! I've listen to tons of audiobooks and many audio dramas, and this one really Induced some actual stress at the end. Super fun!
