Publisher's summary

Just GREAT!

An original I am immediately going to bring into my Call of Cthulhu campaign. Great story, the right vibe, stunning acting, just that hint of period OTT-ness, and beautiful all round. These guys/gals can do no wrong. Buy it, listen to it, enjoy it!

Great story to listen to on a trip

An HP Lovecraft inspired story in the store of an old time radio drama, including kistchy commercials. Excellent acting and good pacing.

Fun twist on the Lovecraftian tale...

Nice to hear a Lovecraftian story where the traditional character roles are reversed. Why wouldn't the KKK be involved with eldritch horrors? The Historical Society does their usual stellar job in performing the tale.

Great Listen

A great story with a return of Inspector Legrasse prevailing against some truly evil villains.

Well Done.

Not an original HPL story, but consistent with the mythos. In fact, better than many of August Derleth's mythos works. The old radio shtick is fun, and without giving away any spoilers, this a worthy followup of a minor but interesting HPL character. The Louisiana dialects were all right, for the most part, certainly superior to many of the abysmally bad fake accents perpetrated by better paid Hollywood actors.

Original Story Well Worthy of the Mythos!

This has a more 1950's 1960's feel to it than the 1920's like most episode but it works well. I love the original Lovecraft stories but this is a worthy addition to that world. Too many modern Lovecraftian stories are just plain bad and come off as silly. This story while dealing with the all too real horror of racism, stays true to the "feel" of Lovecraft's work. I love the follow up to Legrasse's story from Call of Cthulhu. The acting is great and the characters very real. Hope there's more of these to come!

More Legrasse!

Very exciting new adventure with Legrasse. I'd love to see more. Maybe tied to threat of Call of Cthulhu radio drama.

Insane...ly Good.

I love being entertained. These radiolike dramas accomplish this feat and more. I love the atmosphere, the sound effects, voice acting, cozy parody commercials scattered about. Truly a masterclass in reviving old but powerful literature. This story especially had a good message but I won't spoil it. I was genuinely tense for a few moments and it is not easy to get me in that state.
I loved it as usual. Thanks!
