About this listen

Micah

What's a superhero to do when his own family sees his powers as unimpressive and he's fifth in line for the throne?

Set my sights on getting space married to a hot alien, of course! For science.

Ziggy Andromeda is a skinsuit-stealing mercenary who's so far out of my league, he might as well be in another galaxy, but there's nothing I love more than a challenge.

And his spaceship has only one bed!

Unfortunately, a home planet conspiracy is threatening our besties-with-benefits situationship, along with my dream of putting a Saturn-sized ring on it and locking Ziggy down for good. Rude.

I came for a deep space adventure with my hot-bod bodysnatcher, and I intend to complete my mission, no matter what.

For science!

Ziggy

Out of all the supes on this sad little floating rock, Micah Salah has impressed me the most.

I've never let anyone as close to me as he is—for their protection and mine—but I can't seem to resist Micah's gravitational pull.

Plus, he smells like goddamn candy. He probably tastes like candy… No. Bad Ziggy.

Unfortunately, this superpowered Earthling has not only joined me on assignment but in my bed. This wouldn't be a problem if my true form hadn't already claimed him as my mate, even though I suspect I'm nothing but a temporary detour on his intergalactic travels.

Too bad I'd rather live inside him. Permanently.

I'm determined to respect Micah's personal space, even if the forces conspiring against us make me want to tighten my tendrils and never let him go.

Because he's mine.

Forever.

Earth Boys Are Easy is book one in the new Villains in Space series, and is an idiots-in-love tale, where the spice heats up quickly but the emotions are glacially slow, set in space with only one sleeping pod and an entire skinsuit closet full of alien accessories. Things are gonna get weird, but if you're here for it, dock yourself to my spice station and hang on for the ride!

While the events in Villains in Space take place after the Villainous Things series, you can start your adventure here before orbiting back to the series that started it all.

kind of weird but totally entertaining!

There were a lot of unknown concepts in the story but it had a good character development/ reversal thing going on. Guess it was kind of weird but totally entertaining!

Space Daddy and Baby Girl to the Rescue

I wasn't sure about this book as I absolutely love Villainous Things and never want that to end or have two characters from that Universe get their story told. But......Micah and Ziggy are amazing!
Micah surprised me. He is so funny and super sex charged. I mean that boy. Whew. He is a walking kink factory and it's so much fun. For science is his motto. Unfortunately his parents don't pay any attention to him and his family has no idea how incredible he is. But a certain Alien Rambo sees him.
Ziggy is amazing as he is a David Bowie fan. I mean, hello, that is perfect. Ziggy is so broken. Such a loaner due to his parents abandoning him. Cruising through life doing work for a Stellarian government that doesn't appreciate him. Having to figure everything out by himself. He has a wall up around himself letting no one in but we all know he is just a softy.
Micah meets Ziggy and "stellar nova eruption". Ziggy is enamored by Micah and his ability as a superhero. One that no ones notices. But Ziggy notices. What could possibly go wrong. Micah decides to be a stowaway as Ziggy decides to go back to Stellaria because Micah was just about to ask Ziggy out on a date. Plus there is only one sleeping pod on the spaceship. Let the sexcapades begin.
What happens is Micah gets to stay, go on adventures with Ziggy, meet other aliens, get to see (and use) an alien brothel, save the Stellarians and fight to save his Space Daddy. Micah's enthusiasm to see the "real" Ziggy finally gets him to let someone else in to help. It also allows Ziggy to love.
The kink between these two is over-the-top and it works! Space Daddy and Baby Girl are so yummy.
The references to Davis Bowie and Mandalorian makes my heart so full.
C Rochelle gives us another "over-the-top" gay alien super hero story that is just what the world needs.

Narrator adds so much to the story

Really like the narrator for Micah. The way he changes from serious to sassy is seamless.

This is a re-read for me as having read the book, having it “told/performed” brings out the story so much better.

I also like being able to pronounce some of the more difficult words in the book that I may not have know.

So much fun

What do you get when you cross a grumpy, possibly villainous, insecure alien with a ray of sunshine? Ziggy and Micah! This book continues in the same world as the Villainous Things series by C. Rochelle. It can be read as a stand-alone, but you'll appreciate some of the mentions of other characters and backstory if you read those books first.
When you're first introduced to Ziggy in the Villainous Things series, he seems very cocky and self-assured. This book deconstructs everything you thought you knew about him, and reveals him to be a schmoopy idiot in love.
Micah is a really refreshing character. It's like he deliberately avoids tropes and *gasp* actually communicates! Dr. Micah in the house!
As C. Rochelle says, "you'll laugh, cry, and clench your thighs," and I definitely did all three.
Gabriel Michael as Micah was a brilliant narrator and brought so much fun to the role.

Amazing

This audiobook is an amazing performance by the voice actors - the depth they bring to the story is incredible. C. Rochelle is an auto-buy author for me and I couldn't wait to get my hands (ears?) on this gloriousness. Ziggy and Micah are a match made in the stars and you will be blown away by the writing and audio performance of this audiobook!

So much romantic smitten fun!

Good story, good narration, kinky steamy, hilariously snarky, fun. I'm a fan of Villinous Things and this spin off series is off to a great start with Earth Boys are Easy.

Great book with amazing narration

I love when one of my favorite books has narration that makes the story even better. I was so happy to see Nick come back from the Villainous Things series for Ziggy, and Gabriel is PERFECT as Micah! Going to relisten to this one on repeat for sure.

Such an enjoyable read!
I so enjoyed the connection between the two main characters and their adventures through out this story to bring the bad guys down and grow in love at the same time
And boy was this a SEXY HOT SEXY time !
These two enjoyed each other to the max and the Duel narration helped to elevate our enjoyment of their story
Nick & Gabriel did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life
Well done!
