Lacked character development specificity

I found the story concept interesting and Robert D. Armstrong's writing style was fine but too often important areas of character development were skimmed over. The retaliatory actions toward North Korea for nuking the US, much detail on the processes of Michael becoming Saven, Vala's conversion to a Cilan, or her post conversion skills training were left to the listener's imagination.

The feeling I got after about three-fourths of the way through was like I was listening to a mid-1950s drive-in SciFi B movie, entertaining but wishing for more specifics had been provided.

James Anderson Foster's narration was quite good.
