About this listen

Workplace mobbing exacts a terrible emotional and physical toll on targets and those who love them.

While most audiobooks on workplace bullying and mobbing focus on the dynamics of abuse and advocacy, this work is dedicated to emotional healing. The author has been a working therapist for more than 30 years, experienced the harrowing effects of a workplace mobbing and, most importantly, has reached thousands of people through his articles, videos, website, and practice to help them heal.

Richard shares how to manage the out of control emotions, anxiety, loss, and trauma of a mobbing experience. He offers advice about rebuilding relationships with family and loved ones. In addition, he examines the pitfalls of seeking help for this misunderstood phenomenon. This is a must listen for someone recovering from the nightmare that is workplace mobbing and for anyone watching a loved one struggle.

I've gone through mobbing.

Of course I had no idea at the time.

I could not believe the accuracy to my experiences be they behavioral, emotional, workplace, family, whatever described.

Strikingly, author Richard Schwindt M.S.W., R.S.W reveals that mobbing occurs most often in jobs with job security & unions like nursing & teaching, my former profession.

You'll have to read it for the psychological explanation. It's too long for a review. But it makes sense.

Everyone should read or listen to this book.

As coworkers, we should look out for & support each other. I think the workplace would just be such a better experience if it was read or listened to company wide.

You should especially read or listen to it if you feel or someone you know seems to feel isolated, anxious, depressed, or in a chaotic place.

Thank you Richard Schwindt!

You helped me enormously.

Scary Accurate

You believe it is you. You are not performing as well as you once performed, when the truth is, you performed really well under stellar and horrific leadership.

When a person of strength decides it’s time to leave their place of employment following a strong effort to be mobbed out, the road to recovery is paved differently for each survivor.

Schwindt’s work offers helpful and practical recommendations for anyone facing the aftermath of such a debilitating nightmare.

This is the 4th book I have bought in a month while working on recovering. There is hope.

This should be required reading for every Human Resources office, Program Manager, EEO personnel and EEOC investigator. The US policies on harassment need to include workplace mobbing. It's time we call it what it is...Violence!

Much needed in the Workplace!

I really liked how this author presented this information, both as serious and with a sense of humor. I have never found a book that has been so accurate at describing the abuse and the aftermath of this phenomenon while also leaving room for Hope and recovery. I really enjoyed this book, and I hope to see more from this author.

One of the best books I’ve read on this topic

Mobbing is a frightening trend. The author is a qualified professional who speaks from experience.

Excellent. Soulful. Well Researched

I was the target in a workplace mobbing. Although I have started the welcome process if moving on, I started this audio book during the worst of times. It was helpful, I’m sorry to say, just knowing that so many others are affected by this terrible issue that someone wrote a book about it. I feel much better & will use the strategies suggested in my recovery. Thank you for this title.

So helpful - must listen

Listening to this book on Audible was the beginning of my healing Jouney. It truly breaks down the growing phenomenon of workplace mobbing in a way that empowers and educates the listener as well as their loved ones who may not fully understand. This book helps with identifying and clearly articulating patterns that are destructive in a workplace and allows the listener to personalize the content as well as learn about the implications for long term wellness. The book points the reader toward healing, hope and recovery of personal dignity.

A must read for anyone whose been through mobbing or wants to learn

This is a somewhat helpful guide for people who have experienced workplace mobbing but there's not enough content and material here to really make a difference in anybody's life. I do not like how short the book is, but I understand that most people cannot read long books and therefore this guide is perfect for most people.

Too short
