About this listen

This is an audiobook containing liturgies for the ordinary events of daily life - liturgies such as "A Liturgy for Feasting with Friends" or "A Liturgy for Laundering" or "A Liturgy for the First Hearthfire of the Season". These are ways of reminding us that our lives are shot through with sacred purpose even when, especially when, we are too busy or too caught up in our busyness to notice.

it is hard to listen to the speakers. the woman almost whispers. The man has a lovely voice at a good pitch and volume. If the volume is set to understand the woman, the man is loud. However, the man's voice is clear and understandable. It is just difficult to listen to this mismatched team. The book itself is good. I do wish there was an option to choose what section to listen to as some were unnecessary for my life. I have the book and is a wonderful. This audible version is just difficult.

Writing is great. Audio is difficult.

I very much like the content of this book, but the female narrator is not very strong, unfortunately. The shakiness of her voice and her unusual sentence tempo is quite distracting. The male narrator is much better. Overall, a very helpful book.
