Publisher's summary

People who say keep your enemies closer never took a road trip with a guy who hated their guts.

A month ago, my identity as Dr. Love was a secret. A month ago, I thought I was getting engaged.

A month ago, I wasn’t stuck with the guy who hates me most in the world.

Now…if I don’t make nice with my number-one hater, I might lose my book deal.

Without that, I’m not sure what I have left.

But when I’m forced on a publicity tour with everyone’s favorite guy, the guy who says I ruined his relationship, I didn’t know how low I could go.

At every stop, I get roasted and he gets more revered.

You would think after a while, I would hate him too.

And you would be very, very wrong...

Falling for Your Enemy is a laugh-out-loud, heartwarming romcom with an epic road trip, a grumpy hero, and a happy ending to end all happy endings for this five-book series.

What a great book!

MY TAKE
What a great ending to this series! We've known Sam and the whole Dr. Love book through all the previous books and her roommates' love stories. And the set up with Rhys (Grampa Gosling) is one from previous books. Oh, my heck. Who knew? And he has every right to think badly of Sam because of what the memes have done to his life.

When they're forced together on the road trip no-book tour, they have a great opportunity to get to know each other better. There was immediate physical attraction when they first met, which makes for some nice tension as they both have to fight it off.

It's rough at first, but gradually Rhys begins to see that Sam isn't at all what he thought she was. Sam's much more open than Rhys is, so it's harder for her to get him to open up. And they're so perfect for each other! My favorite part of a romance isn't all about how hot they are for each other but for the falling in love part. The kindnesses, the getting to know each other. And this book is full of that. And, since it's a rom com, it's also full of slapstick situations to either have you rolling on the floor laughing or rolling your eyes.

But they're delightful together AND eventually as part of Sam's group of friends and their spouses. The epilogue is a hoot.

loved this!

wonderful book especially loved the last couple of chapters. such great characters drawn so fully. Truly shows the truth of 'we are always the same age inside!'

thanks to Emma St. Claire for such a great ride in this series! One I will listen to again! Also thanks to Kevin Eiger for being my new favorite voice! Do MORE! Are you listening Audible? T

Thanks to Lorena Hoopes too. IMHO you are up there with Andie Arndt! Not many women can do a man's voice but you did well. Thank you all!

These stories prove you CAN tell a great love story with out the R rated stuff! As good as the R rated stuff is in person, especially over a lifetime with someone you love and who loves you! I prefer keeping it there.

Female Narrative

I love this series of books. The stories are clean and sweet! However, the female narrator for them is so sing song at all times that I feel like I'm at a children's story hour instead of listening to contemporary fiction. Even in serious or sad moments her voice is happy happy with an obvious up, then down canter in every sentence. She does good voices but the narrative parts are painful.
Otherwise, wonderful book!

The deserving end of an amazing series!!!

Emma St Claire’s rom com series “Love Cliches” ends with this book (insert sniffles, wiping a tear that it’s over, and my sad, pathetic face)
I love a good series where you can get attached and really get to know a group of characters, and
This.
Did.
Not.
Disappoint.
The first book I found by Emma St Claire was Book 1 in this series and I tore through the whole thing like wild fire. I’ve reread them all, and - now that this is finally here - have all audio books
Her writing style is 😍!
Her kisses are 🔥- but don’t worry, nothing crosses the line. All bedroom doors stay closed.
Witty banter is 🤣
Leading ladies are 💣
Leading men are - - dang, I do like to do these things with emoji’s, but there isn’t one for “swoony” 😉
Honestly there wasn’t a dud in the series.
I could tell you to read this book, but if I’m your friend (and at this point, if you’re still reading this I feel we should add each other to our Christmas card list) I will tell you to start with book 1 and read the whole series!! Then move IMMEDIATELY to Royally Rearranged. It’s a stand alone that is a stand out.
The narrators do a good job - especially Kevin Eiger, whose voice is a smooth as melted chocolate!!! They both do the whole series so they keep it consistent with the characters.
To keep my emoji game strong, I will end with emojis that sum up this series:

Too fun!

Emma St Clair has a great style and voice. These protagonists are unique and completely relatable and endearing. She weaves the characters from previous books into the story which gives depth and perspective. You’ll fall totally in love!
