About this listen

Join Half-Moon Hollow's favorite couple for a trip down memory lane - to a time when Mr. Wainwright was newly dead, Jane Jameson was a newbie vampire, and a budding paranormal romance was not yet uncorked....

Half-Moon Hollow's supernatural social event of the season - Zeb's Titanic-themed werewolf wedding - is coming up, and Dick Cheney (not that Dick Cheney!) needs a date. But Andrea's had enough of clever, handsome, and rakish to last a lifetime, and Dick Cheney is certainly not the sort of man you bring home to mom (not that Andrea's deadist parents are speaking to her ever since she dropped out of college and became a blood surrogate). Shameless, relentless, roguish, with a Stetson-worthy swagger, a naughty sparkle in his eyes, and a constant smirk - oh, and fangs - no, Dick is the last person (er...vampire) Andrea wants to date.

But the infuriatingly irresistible man who lives quietly on the edge of a criminal underworld knows exactly what he wants, and once he surprises Andrea with a thrilling hot and dirty kiss behind the paranormal bookshop, she knows what she wants too: Dick. All it takes to ignite their unconventional courtship is a near-undeath experience that confronts Dick with a choice between turning Andrea, losing her forever, or tapping in to his countless shady resources.

Back story on Andrea and Dick

What did you love best about Fangs for the Memories?

To see what lengths Dick Cheney will go to help a friend.

What other book might you compare Fangs for the Memories to and why?

This is a nicely put together novellas. I just read Wild Magic by Alisa Wood both are novella, both well done, but in both a full length novel should have written because of the importance of characters to the series.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Andrea confronts Dick in the back of the store, and she does not understand why he is so upset about the death of Mr Wainwright.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Dick breaks into Andrea's apartment to save her from a feeding gone very bad.

Any additional comments?

Amanda Ronconi stayed in character through the whole book. Love what Dick does to Sophie for not taking proper care of Andrea.

Really good short

I really enjoyed this story, but the voice of the main character is kind of weird. She almost talks in “baby-talk “ throughout the story which is a bit irritating. However, it’s still a good story and well worth reading or rather, listening to.

Loved it!

I love that we get a short story showing how Dick Cheney and Andrea got together and a little bit of her pre-vampire life.

Dick Cheney shows us a softer side to his nature while her pursues his beloved Andrea. She has just the right amount of snark and patience to make his libido stay on and Dick has just the right amount of bad boy charm and old school gentleman behavior to make her feel loved and appreciated.

Zen and Jolene’s wedding sounds like a hoot. As soon as they said “Titanic themed” wedding, you knew it was going to be good.

Fun bit of fluff

Molly Harper's stories are always fun and silly, the characters interesting, and Ms. Marconi is the perfect reader for all that sass.

Sugary Sweet.

I love Half-Moon Hollow. I'm not sure this 2 hour short story set during the time of Nice Girls Don't Date Dead Men, is worth the credit or 6.95 dollar price tag. It's sweet, and it's nice to see Dick and Andrea get together, but it is also very short and semi rushed as a result. Amanda Ronconi is as always brilliant with her voices and timing delivering a stellar performance. I will say if you love Half-moon Hollow, you probably will adding this book to your collection.

Cute short story

I was really happy to get to see how Dick and Andrea got together. This was a very cute short story that takes place during the second book and explains what happened to make Andrea give Dick a chance and it showed another side of Dick. It also gave us a better idea of what Andrea used to do for a living and why she was so hesitant to let Dick get close to her. Definitely a good listen to add to Dick and Andrea’s story.
