AJ Docker (Doc) and his guard dog, Banshee, move to a small town in the mountains for a slower-paced lifestyle. these books uses a believable medical premise that makes it a good basis for the mystery to be set against. This book in particular foreshadowed, but didn't give away the ultimate result too soon, with some twists.

This is one of the best books I’ve ever read. The characters are so real to life. The plot is so good that you are surprised at each twist and turn. The end is great; never saw it coming. I am definitely going to read more from this author. ❤️
