About this listen

The Goddess rises up through the ashes of dead divinity to light a beacon for a world of ancient shadows.

To conquer the reflections beyond, she must face the one that lies in the mirror.

A cherished companion left in jeopardy, the Mystery Cult of the Goddess of Mirrors, Fate, Illusion, and Light has nonetheless grown and prospered, crushing its enemies and forging key alliances in two powerful cities. Faith Energy? Followers? Gold? It’s all rolling in.

Her cup overflows. But to wake the one she cares for so dearly, she’d toss it all aside in an instant. She’d go to hell and back for one she calls her own.

As it turns out…

Please save my sanity and either stop reading the character sheet, or make that its own skippable chapter. It's getting way too long. Other than that it's a cutesy ride; with a few nit-picks.

The small ones are like that we're 50+ hours in and still haven't been told how the class levels actually work and how much other people know about them, or even what the max level is.

Big issues are like factions keep getting built up and forgotten about. Same for side characters and their problems. The small things that made book 1 feel good and like there were stakes involved with the towns and nations have been ignored in favor of universe-sweeping revelations.

imo, the Fortune Teller is confusing and would have been better as just being a form change where Sammy could remember the past instead of a separate incarnation.

Guess we'll see in book 4.

May have hit that impasse

The main question regarding this book in the series is, "What would you do for someone you care about?" I believe the answer is personal to the listener. Whatever the explanation, this book takes the audience on that journey, which is well worth the credit.

Well Done

This has been a great series. The only pitfall is if you’re one of those people that can’t wait you might not like the to be continued ending. Hope the next book and the series comes out soon.

I continue to love this series. The idea of a RL person becoming a god, and then trying to figure her way is still super unique.

I loved much of the additional expanding of the lore of the word, especially the talk with the snake was super fascinating.

The Snake lady bit was also super interesting too!

yet another fantastic entry.

This book keeps the story going.
The goddess of mirrors keeps getting stronger and more mature.
If you liked the first two books, you are definitely going to like this one.
I'm giving this book 6.5 out of 5 stars.

Book 3

I don't mind romance and relationship building. But it felt like the author just had nothing else to focus on in this book. You can basically skip half of it to get the actual story. I'll be cautious about getting the next book.

To much interpersonal focus
