About this listen

When Aaron Johnson takes his married sister back to her home in Trade, Tennessee, he gets caught in a blizzard in the Appalachian Mountains on his return trip to West Virginia. Finding a remote cabin, he arrives frostbitten and needing care.

Meghan Scott lives with her harsh uncle, but he’s been missing for days. When a nearly frozen stranger comes to their cabin in a snowstorm, she reluctantly takes him in. However, she soon learns she has nothing to fear from the kind man trained to be a pastor, except maybe losing her reputation from harboring him or her heart. When her uncle turns up shot to death, the situation, visitors, and mystery get even more complicated.

Great story and mystery!

I loved how this story went! I knew it would be great because of the 1st book in this set. I love how bear the end they referred to the couple in the first book and their wonderful love story. There's murder, love, and I love all the biblical references in it. Great story and looking forward to the next one!! ❤️❤️❤️

Falling into Love

Listening to going the extra mile was a pleasure. Narrator was good. Aaron is on his way back home, when tragedy strikes. He has to get help soon or he could die in the cold snowy mountains. He finally finds a cabin and is so thankful that Meghan is there to help him. It’s not good that she’s alone with him, but being he is injured, there’s no chance of him hurting her. When her uncle is brought home dead, that is the first of many incidents to cause worry. As they try to work through everything, Meghan‘s brother, Rory comes to help. Aaron is getting better and he is having feelings for Meghan. More attempts of danger are happening and they must do something to make it stop. God is always a part of the plans they make to survive.
I was given a copy of this book by the author, for an honest review.

Sweet, Clean Romance and Adventure

This book gives the reader an inside look at life in the mountains of Tennessee as well as romance, adventure, and inspiration. Aaron and Megan are from different worlds and any romantic relationship appears to be out of the question. They both have a strong faith in God and trust Him to solve the mystery around he uncle's death and to lead them in their choices that need to be made. As always with Ms. Hopkins this story is clean and sweet. I enjoy being able to read or listen to any of her books and know that I will not find anything inappropriate.

The narration is good which always is appreciated as it brings life to the story.

I requested this audio book from the author and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

Mystery, love, fate... it's all in here!

Aaron and Meghan... what a story their romance turns out to be. Mystery, suspicion and so much more are prevalent in this endearing story of trust and love. Helping a stranger on the brink of death turns Meghan's life around.

I listen to the audiobook of this, I thought the narrative was well done.
