Amazing Book series

I started it and before I knew it it was over. I just can't get enough what a wonderful narrator and writer.

It seems like BV wasn't quite sure where this story was going or what it was doing. I am a HUGE fan of the Undying Mercenaries and Mark Boyett was fantastic as usual. I had to ding the storyline tho because it just seemed to wander. Right when it felt like it was getting a direction, it fell off the rails a bit and then found a new direction. Like other readers, I would like to see the McGill creature progress in some manner. As it is, McGill is always a fun time, but I would hate to see him stay on this track forever. I will say, by the end of the book it seems like there might have been a bit of change in good ol' James -- perhaps something will stir the pot in the next installment.

If you are like me and just can't get enough of Jim's antics and want to listen to all things Boyett, this does provide the next dose to quench your habit. You could probably skip it if you absolutely needed to...but I wouldn't. :) We will see where Ice World takes us to discover if a change is brewin' in our MC.

Another super fun chapter in the tumultuous life of James McGill. This book is full of absolutely hilarious scenes that one wouldn’t normally find in SciFi lit. This particular story is more of a set up for more action in later books but it is still a rollicking tale. I suggest consuming these books in audible form as Mark Boyette is simply one of the best audio performers ever. And, you can really enjoy the funny bits when they come up. McGill rocks always
