What a fantastic and fun book! I don't have kids, but I still found it throughly entertaining. When is your next one coming out? ;)

SWT for President!

I love Stefanie Wilder-Taylor and listen to her weekly podcast religiously, so I was super excited for this book to be released and she did not disappoint!! Hilarious and so relatable!! The stories made me laugh out loud and yell "Yes!!!" and "Seriously!!!" especially when she discusses the crazy, fanatical, in-your-face-annoying mom's who shame or judge us "normal" parents who don't have time for that kind of shit!
And, oh man, do I hate the park and agree with Stefanie 100% on all things park related!
This book is not for the overly-sensitive and all-too eager to be judgmental, but for those with a good sense of humor and an ability to be honest about parenthood, you will definitely enjoy this!

Great Book!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would absolutely recommend this book. It is really funny and really relatable!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Gummi Bears Should Not Be Organic?

My favorite chapters are the one about Elbe's imaginary friend and the zoo adventure. Stephanie is a great story teller!

Gummi Bears Should not be Organic

I would recommend this book to anyone who has ever had kids. This was a funny book. Stephanie tells it like it is, and I think that a lot, if not most of us have probably thought in our heads what she says out loud! (At least I did) .. She makes us feel normal, like it's ok to hate the thought of getting up every Saturday morning for soccer practice or that our kids may some day want to send their American Girl dolls to the hospital (if you're rich enough to have one) Or the fact that we have to feed our kids, like .....every night.
There will be a percentage of people who won't like this book and those are the parents us "normal" ones stay away from.. Over parenting is just not for me! I did laugh out loud... A lot. Let's face it , kids don't come with instructions and not everything works for every kid, so do what works for you and don't judge !
A light hearted book that I find to be realistic....I LOVE my kids but I don't Have to love Everything I do for them, and my way may not be your way but it works for me so get over it! -review by Viki Colonna, yep I bought this book with my husbands account...It must have been my turn in Candy Land..

Oh so clever

I love SWT, she’s officially my celebrity girl crush- the triple threat! John you’re so Lucky!!!

I need the rest of her books on audible PLEASE!! Who do I write to make that happen?!!!!

If you can’t get enough of her, go to podcast-“ For crying out loud” and get a daily dose of her (and Lynnettes) wits, advise and sanity!! You helped me get through the first 4 years of parenting without loosing my mind- I’m not alone in my madness!!
I’m not quite out of the mail room, but I have something to look forward to!
Will start on the cream cheese spreading skills next weekend....

You’re A Parent Now...Don't Mess It Up

Stefanie Wilder-Taylor is one funny mother...no really she's a mother and she's very funny. I'm not her target demographic ...I'm a guy and my kids are grown and nearly done with college (Yay) but I can remember (parts of) what it was like to raise young kids and her stories ring true. As an LA based quasi celebrity she probably encounters a somewhat nuttier bunch of fellow mothers than most. Statistically it seems unlikely that any one person could come across so many narcissistic self centered half wits as she has...but hey that's LA folks.

Her style is sharp without being cruel and 100% authentic. She also made me actually Laugh Out Loud quite a few times. She performs her own work perfectly...this simply wouldn't be as good if someone else had read it. You can feel the humor and frustration in her voice. My only complaint is that it's a bit short. I don't usually lavish a whole credit on a book that runs a scant 4:44 but it's not a waste. If you are a parent, plan to be a parent...or were ever a child it's a pretty safe bet that you will thoroughly enjoy this book.

Highly Entertaining!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

As always, Stefanie Wilder Taylor tells stories that are extremely relatable and subtly hilarious. If you are a parent, it is more than a breath of fresh air to have her reassurance that the world won't end if you feed your kids Mac and Cheese weekly and that sometimes wanting to send your kids to a deserted island is nothing to feel guilty about. Even if you aren't a parent, you know the people she writes about and her "adventures" are still funny, regardless.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

When it comes to being a parent, everybody needs to calm the f*** down.

Any additional comments?

Check out her podcast "For Crying Out Loud", and her show "Parental Discretion" on Hulu. She is always hilarious and her material is always fresh. I haven't read her other books, but I'm sure they are amazing also!

Way to go Stephanie Wilder Taylor!

I'm not even a parent but I could relate to this book on many levels. Sometimes I hesitate to listen to author narrated books but she really did a wonderful job.
