So good!

Ryder and Kira's story is the second book in the series. It was full of drama, angst, love, and passion. I absolutely loved the way Ryder is so protective. Kira is sweet and so strong. I really liked how they had an instant attraction, but how it was more of a slow burn romance. Their daughters are adorable. I couldn't put this down.

The narrators Gregory Salinas and Heather Costa did an outstanding job bringing this story to life. I highly recommend this series.

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧 Engaging & Moving!

Nikki Ash does it again and pens another winning novel, the second in her amazing “Love & Whiskey” series and I loved everything about it, from her wonderful writing style to the fabulous characters and storylines she created to the perfectly cast narrators who bring it all to life from the pages to your ears. This story not only captivated my attention the entire time, but it tugged at my heartstrings too. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they were likable and easy to root for too. Kira Adams left her abusive husband with her daughter, Violet, and maybe luck is turning around for her when she lands a childcare job at Kingston Limited. Ryder Du Ponte, a single dad, works from home as much as possible, but when he goes into the office, he brings his daughter Addie with him, leaving her with the childcare service provided by Kingston Limited. He was very protective of his daughter and was not expecting a new employee, but she eased his mistrust of her right away and was great with his daughter. When he finds out what her living situation was, he stepped up and offered her a job as a live-in nanny and Violet was welcome, too. It was great to watch these two get to know each other, learn more about them and to see their relationship morph into something more. I thought they were great together and for each other and the chemistry between them was smoking hot. I loved all the layers of the story and how it all played out, with the perfect balance of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. The character growth and development is incredible, as is the world building. Nikki Ash, thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Gregory Salinas and Heather Costa did an amazing job portraying the characters and did so with a complete understanding of who they were, giving each a voice that was fitting and was believable in every role. Salinas nailed it as Ryder, showcasing every side of his personality, from his protective and caring side to his take no prisoners side. Costa was just as fabulous in her role as Kira, also showcasing all aspects of her personality, from her vulnerabilities and worries to her strength and fierceness. Both were fantastic performing the roles of the secondary characters, too. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they capture all the characters’ emotions and have you feeling them all. These two are entertaining storytellers and their performance elevates this already amazing story to another level. They made a great team and were a pleasure to listen to.

Age Gap Nanny Romance!

This is the second book in the Love & Whiskey Series, an age gap nanny romance. Ryder and Kira's story is beautifully written, and heartwarming, filled with drama, angst, secrets, passion, and a little suspense. Ryder, a billionaire single dad, is handsome, and protective. Kira, a single mom, is beautiful, sweet, strong, caring, and smart. I liked their instant attraction, and slow burn romance. Their daughters are adorable. Gregory Salinas and Heather Costa did an outstanding job bringing this story to life. This is a great team author/narrators. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Waiting on You, the next book in the series. I highly recommend this series. #PFPAudio

Book 2 - Love and Whiskey

This is book 2 in Ash's Love and Whiskey series and a wonderful addition to the series that can easily be read / listened to as a standalone. This book focus' on main characters Kira and Rider, both of which are single parents after being hurt but the partner that should have been the other parent to their wonderful daughters. Kira comes thru a bit naive and secretive but trusts easily which boggles my mind after the repeats of how she's made mistakes in past judgement. Rider is much more protective and standoffish and doesn't trust easily at all. Somehow Kira breaks thru Riders walls and the chemistry and banter are so much fun and the dual narration is perfection. I love the addition of the kids, again the narration for them is great and the innocence they subject into the storyline is wonderful. I so enjoyed this listen as I do with all of Ash's writings. A great balance of sweet and steam with some twists and a touch of danger too! A beautiful HEA that has me eager to see what's next!

This book was given to me at my request and I voluntarily provided this review.

Billionaire x Nanny? Yes, please.

4/5⭐️ 2.5/5🌶️ 5/5🎧
This was such a touching story about two single parents learning to trust again and keep their children, as well as their hearts, safe. Ryder has been a single father to Addie ever since her mother walked out in exchange for money. Kira has been a single mother pretty much since Violet was born. When Kira struggles to find a job and start over, she is miraculously in the right place at the right time, overhearing someone talking about needing a childcare provider position filled with no luck. Well, it just so happens that Kira has a degree in early childhood education, so she puts herself out there and takes a chance by talking to the woman. But even though Kira got the job she needed, she was still struggling. Ryder finds her with her daughter in quite a sad predicament, and he bites the bullet and tells Kira he can’t allow her to stay under the conditions she was in and moves her into his home to be his nanny. Violet and Addie become so close throughout their time living together, and they don’t understand why they don’t have one of the other parents when other kids do. And seeing Kira care for Addie in a way no other woman has even had the chance to, draws Ryder in like a mother to a flame. With every day that passes that he sees the love and compassion Kira has, he falls just a little more for her. Can these two put their ugly pasts behind them and move forward together? Or will their bitterness and fear always haunt them, keeping them in a limbo from being happy? This is definitely worth the read to find out.

Gregory Salinas and Heather Costa performed so well in this audiobook. I felt every part of this story. It was incredible!

The last 45 minutes of this book had me on the edge of my seat. I mean, I knew there'd be a Swoon-worthy HEA, but getting there can be intense. I loved every part of this story.

Heartwarming

A wonderful kind and loving MMC who puts family first. A woman escaping an abusive cold husband to protect her daughter and herself.
What a perfect couple who come from situations that wouldn’t foster love and compassion but they both have it in abundance
Live stories with sweet children, loving parents, and the capacity for the MMC and MFC to trust and love each other
Highly recommend this story and has fantastic narration, especially the male

Loved Ryder and Kira! ♥️

This was a beautiful story about Ryder and Kira, who have been through so much with their exes, finally meeting and seeing they could have a chance at love again with each other and their children.  They had so much to get through first, but things just worked out for Kira to be able to eventually work for Ryder as his Nanny.  Their children were not close in age, but got along so well that it was like a ready-made family, but as they tried to work through things, someone didn’t want that to happen.  The story had mystery, action, romance, love, sadness, etc.  You should just listen to this story because you will love it!  Narration by Gregory Salinas and Heather Costa was great and it made the audiobook fantastic!

Sweet and spicy

This single-parent romance had me HOOKED. I was so hooked on both Kira and Ryder’s characters. This series is shaping out to be one of my faves by this author. To say I felt every emotion is an understatement. I felt like I was part of their journey with the way these performers brought this story to life. This book is both sweet and spicy. I adored every second.
