Publisher's summary

In How Come That Idiot's Rich and I'm Not? best-selling author Robert Shemin reveals for the first time the inner-circle secrets of the mega-wealthy. Have you ever wondered why some people attract wealth while others stay financially trapped and in debt? The key is wealth-friendly, upside-down thinking. Stick with all the old moneymaking rules and stay broke. Break them and get rich. This is the audiobook that shows you how.

Whether you've been trying to get rich but haven't quite made it yet, or just need the confidence to dream big, this is the book for you. As experienced as Shemin is at showing high-net-worth individuals how to get richer, his real love is helping self-described "financial disasters" earn millions. And he uses his own odds-defying story to illustrate the outside-the-box thinking that gets the job done.

Here, you'll learn which three assets you must own to become a Rich Idiot and how to obtain them with little or no money of your own. You'll learn why Rich Idiots outearn almost all the so-called wealth experts and how you can, too. Above all, you'll learn how doing just one thing a day will bring you to your big goal.

Robert Shemin shows us in a fun, witty way how going against the grain is, in fact, the surest way to gain. Spend just a few minutes with Robert and his Rich Idiot friends and you'll be convinced that "if they could do it, I can do it."

Good life improvement book

This book provides a simple, funny and easy guide to changing your mindset from someone who will not be rich to someone who does. It teaches some good principles and I found the insight into gratitude presented to be very valuable.

Great book read by the actual author.

The book introduces unique and simple solutions to a common problem. It is read empathetically by the person who really wrote the words. You can tell he actually means what he says, and wrote this as an inspiration from the heart, not a profit motive.

Easy to listen

Would you listen to How Come That Idiot's Rich and I'm Not? again? Why?

Yes, I will. It uses a very easy language to deliver important message. Some individuals may not agree with one or another way that the writer represents the material, but you have to read between the lines and beyond words in order to grasp full capacity of the message.

What other book might you compare How Come That Idiot's Rich and I'm Not? to and why?

The Magic of Thinking Big

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I can not say that I had an extreme reaction. I read similar books a lot. This book made me laugh a little because of the way the writer expresses himself.

Any additional comments?

I would recommend this book to people. But I want to make a point that you should read between the lines.

Best Book I've listened to all year

I loved this book and before I was done, I recommended it to 2 people I know. It's not all about making money but finding a passion and being kind and giving to others. A must read unless you want to be a R-U-B for the rest of your life!

Absolutely the best book on the outer game

This is an amazing book that speaks mainly of the outer game of business. I am very happy to have listened to it, becuse it opens your eyes in many spheres. It is just the push you need sometimes. Thanks to my new Rich Idiot friend, Robert Shemin, I myself am a Rich Idiot, and have opened my business and launched. I have sharpened my skill set and I am very grateful for all the amazing knowledge I have received. Life-changing, thank you Robert!

Practical advice and common sense.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I've tried to get other people to read or listen this book but it seems like the title automatically triggers their defensive

Any additional comments?

The books has quite a bit of emphasis on real estate transactions. I wish there was more on info on stock and business ownership. Some of the mentions on virtual real estate may need to be updated to whatever the current hot online destinations are.

eh ... not the best

seemed to be the same old, same old. Not really inspiring but a nice (very) introductory book. Rich Dad, Poor Dad would be a better first book into the world of wealth creation.

Pretty interesting.

The book was interesting. It opens your eyes to opportunities in life that's lost just because you're too stupid (or proud) to take advantage of. I have applied some of its principles and am enjoying benefits from it. Not an amazing book, but definitely something to consider.
