About this listen
In our ever-changing world, the need to interact has never been more important until now. As nations vie for economic and social importance in the comity of nations, friction occurs and with that comes the threat of war. And when every form of interaction dissolves, all forms of lies that negates either party abounds, anarchy reigns. The Cold War of the late 19th century and early 20th century is a testament to this fact.
We need to talk, to interact more. It is from this interaction that many of the solutions to the world’s problems lies. That is why these audiobooks on communications serve as both reminder and manual on effective communication.
As humanity faces the effects of global warming, communication will be a tool to drive advocacy and eco-friendly policies to save our planet and ensure humanity’s survival; and that’s not all. Uprisings amongst nations and the breakdown of the fabric of family life is sometimes fueled by a lack of communication. More people today stay depressed because they have no one to talk to; they feel alone in this world.
Governments need to listen to their citizens, spouses have to listen and talk with each other, parents need to listen to and talk with their children, entire communities can learn to coexist if they can communicate. Even in the war against terrorism, communication will play a vital role in providing solutions and winning that war. At the level of the individual, communication is a basic aspect of social interaction. After all, a human being is a social animal. For his sanity and overall wellbeing, a human being must talk, listen and give feedback.
So, it is with these intentions that the author collates his vast experience and knowledge in the art of communication and pour them into these audiobooks. And it is with that same intention that it is presented to you. It is presented to you as a remedy, manual and resource material.
Take the step and be a part of solution to our world. No matter what side you are on, your opinions matter. But do you know that no matter how good your opinions are, they will not fly if you don’t communicate it properly? How do you communicate those ideas? Pick up this book and read and be a part of the solution.
Do you want to be able to talk to anyone easily and get the results you are after, whether in your personal or professional life?

Story
Up to 40% of people consider themselves shy. You might say you're introverted or awkward, or that you're fine around friends but just can't speak up in a meeting or at a party. Maybe you're usually confident but have recently moved or started a new job, only to feel isolated and unsure. If you get nervous in social situations - meeting your partner's friends, public speaking, standing awkwardly in the elevator with your boss - you've probably been told, "Just be yourself!" But that's easier said than done - especially if you're prone to social anxiety.

What happens when you learn to communicate better with everyone? No doubt you’ve had to endure a painfully awkward conversation, more than once in your life. Maybe it was a stranger, a colleague, or a date. Maybe it was a group discussion. You found yourself breaking a sweat, not knowing what to say. The more time passed, the more tense you became. You thought about all the communication books you’ve read in your life and wished you had them with you…to knock yourself unconscious as a way out of the conversation. The best thing about the whole situation was the moment it ended.

Because they realize that the most valuable wisdom is timeless and that philosophy is for living a better life, not a classroom exercise. Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Recommend!
Fantastic audio book, very impressed with just how much I learned from this. I had feared it would be the same content as i have listen before, but a lot of it was unique and the stuff i had listen before we told in a very unique and different way. Excellent audiobook and one I have gained a lot from, so i have no hesitation in recommending it!
