Wonderful book! Wonderful woman. :-)
I don’t know, maybe it’s an engineer thing. But I have always struggled to be able to identify or pick up on ANY social cues. And as a highly competent person, I always figured if people had an issue, they would freaking speak up or tell me… But as I’ve learned through much of this book, looking at peoples cues, they are often nervous or don’t agree, but people rarely voice disagreements or discontent. I have also learned that I am sabotaging my own competence with nervous cues of my own. so many wonderful insights of things that I had never noticed, and Vanessa bundles it together in such a easy to understand way! This has helped me more than you realize and I am just so thankful for your passion, and research, and years of work put into this. Thank you Vanessa! You are a jewel!

Excellent
I always felt that I had a good sense of social skills, so hearing that scientific studies support much of what I already knew was very gratifying. On the way of course, I learned many more cues that I hadn't considered, which expanded my social knowledge. Having Vanessa as the reader absolutely helped too, as she used exactly the proper tone of voice and inflections relevant to making each topic clear. I find it hard to believe that there isn't plenty in this book that everyone could learn from.

I had my doubts but it was worth the buy
I listen to the book one time and already picked up on some of the skills and tips to use in my daily life i would recommend this book for anybody that wants to better themselves. The audio was so great! I am going to purchase the physical book take better notes and pick up more skills and tips that I most likely missed.

Fabulous!!
The second book of Vanessa’s that I have listened to and absolutely enjoyed! The content is so packed full of life changing skills that I am going to take extra time pouring over the accompanying pdf and will likely re-listen to the audiobook. Vanessa does an even better job of reading this book over her last book (she did way better than just about any audiobook book reader I have heard). No one is beyond learning how to better impact the people and the world around them! 🌟 Listen away!!

Exceptionally Engaging Book! Very Informative!
I purchased the Audible version of CUES. I loved it! Not only was it tremendously helpful, but also it was fun to listen to. Not once did II "zone out" while listening. Vanessa Van Edwards is a pleasure to learn from!
