Skipped Paragraphs

I like the book and have been listening when I m driving. I do have the hard copy and tonight I read while playing the audiobook, the narration skipped so many paragraphs just on chapter 4. Didn’t know about the previous chapters but I think I m going to read again, feel like I missed lots of information in the book. And honestly makes me wonder if all the audibles are like this?

good advice

The only real negative is that the narration is hard to listen to. he gives several tips and tools to use to improve engaging with other people. most of these require some work and practice, so if you're not really willing to put the work in, you won't get a whole lot out of this book. overall I found this book to be useful and helpful

A little bit forgettable

There are a lot of good tips and tricks that I remember in my day to day, but the narrator made it a hassle to finish it.

A few good tips, reminders and messages

Although a bit disappointing as most of the content is intuitive, not as useful as the high reviews would suggest.

Eh, not much new to learn here.

A lot of basic concepts that could be summed up in a blog post instead of a book. Elaborating on these concepts were not necessarily helpful, and felt drawn out if anything.

It would be better off reading how to win friends and influence people, which will affect your conversations entirely if adopted.

Some Good Insights

There were some good, specific insights here. But it could have benefited from better editing and precision of concepts and language and examples.

nothing groundbreaking

The content wasn’t groundbreaking but had some useful pointers. Most of the concepts I was already aware of. The audiobook narration was dull, monotone, and sounded robotic.

Robotic narrator

Mediocre content but what kills the experience is a narrator who speaks in a monotone. Initially I truly that it was a computer generated voice. Worse still, the narrator then instructs us to expand our vocal range!
