Great book for aspiring authors and readers

There is a lot of different perspectives in this book. Lots of great advice to aspiring authors. I think this book also helps readers understand some of the struggles that authors go through. It made me respect the hard work that goes into books even more than I did.

I had no idea

I originally thought this would be exclusively for authors or people looking to break into writing. Wow was I wrong. I had no idea everything that went into being an author and I have even more respect for what the author has to go through. I even feel like I got to know some of my newest favorite authors.

Another anthology, done!

Kevin put this anthology together beautifully. The authors chosen were wonderful. I enjoyed Jeffrey’s narration and can’t wait to check out more of Kevin’s anthologies. I had already ready it, but audiobooks bring stories to life in a whole new way!
Favorites included:
Chase Those Nightmares- John Durgin
We Are Not Alone- Jay Bower
The Killer Mentality- Nick Roberts

Loads of information

Love this collection from indie and hybrid writers. Lots of great information. For new and experienced writers. Lots of inspiration and reasons why you should keep writing when you feel down. Good information on how to deal with people and publishers in the business. Every topic was covered.

Great anthology!!

I absolutely love this book! Not only is it an amazing behind the scenes look of what indie authors go through and the indie publishing scene, it humanized the authors. Some of their experiences that they shared were honest, heartfelt, and even really funny! Narration was great as well, perfect for this book!

Not what I thought it would be...

Kudos for putting it out, but I thought it was going to be a little more of a peek into the weird wild world of Horror fiction, but it really was mostly writing advice from a variety of successful authors, most of which would be in almost any how-to for budding novelists.

There's nothing wrong with it, but it just wasn't for me, mostly because i've been a published author (at least on amazon) so the advice was a bit obvious (write everyday or don't write every day, never give up...) and has been done better in more famous treatise on the craft (i.e. On Writing, by Stephen King).

If you've never read a book about how to write a novel, and are interested in some of the backgrounds on a variety of horror authors, then, go nuts...
