The space battles were awesome. The planet battles were interesting in the fact that the humans press the vantage and over overcome they’re obstacles.

Excellent sci-fi adventure

Really like this author and narrator. Loved it at the beginning, still do! However, it is beginning to kind of share too many perspectives? It merely lengthens the story. I usually do not do too well with series spanning more than ten volumes. Plus: COMBINED ARMS TACTICS. No military I have heard of in the modern world will not soften up their enemy from afar, artillery, missiles, ETC. However you need boots on the ground to hold territory.

Outstanding Sci-fi

I have enjoyed listening to this series until I got to this book. It was boring and I kept listening hoping it would get better. Several hours into it, I decided to cut my losses. I felt the book had too much filler dialogue as it looked to introduce new characters or pivot storylines. I don’t think I will be returning to this series.

It’s a good series. I absolutely loved 1-7 and afterwards it’s diverging from a space opera to a spy political thriller. The original character is mostly forgotten and 50 new ones are interesting in what seems to be the end of the story. I’m not sure about continuing.
