About this listen

An alien race decides humanity’s fate: Eradication. They didn’t count on someone rising to challenge their decree.

Constantine had forsaken his family name and birthright. At 28-years old, he’d escaped Earth to help terraform Mars.

An empire’s heir went missing just as the universe’s greatest threat announces itself.

War Games will decide who represents humanity in this extinction level struggle. Constantine is summoned.

With little training but abundant talent, can Constantine win these games? If he does, will he be a force in the coming war? Or is it already too late for humanity?

Let the games begin.

You’ll love this epic space military saga, because the struggle is just beginning and the battles coming down the road are like nothing you’ve seen before. Get it now.

Talk about an incredible Series Sequel!

Honestly had a great ole time with this one! i
It paid incredible homage to the previous series' main character Alistair/Prometheus and the new main character Constantine is really becoming something familiar yet unqiue! Very interesting cast of characters and in typical fashion, very good ending!! Narrator is STILL killin it in this series, no dramatized version needed ( although they are very nice!) Dont think the audible could be as good without him!!! He made all the amazing lines from Achilles even better!

Wow!

Lots of intrigue, action and mayhem. Gods and Kings should be the name here. Achilles and Constantine are main characters.

Awesome..

OK, I’m an idiot! I read the first six books of the Great Insurrection, which was about Alistair Kane, But didn’t finish reading the last three books in the series. AND This book is about Alastair’s grandson Constantine, and Alistair is in this book too. Now before I go any further with this series I’m going to finish the last three books that I missed in the Great Insurrection.
Where Alastair had Prometheus as his alter ego Con has Achilles, and Con and his team are going to take on the God who is going to end the world in 200 years.

No romance and the F-bomb was used 39 times.

As for the narration: Pete Bradbury did a fantastic job.

A fantasy about an impending apocalypse

David Beers and Michael Anderle started a series where Book 1 involves savior characters that are named after past Greek gods and demigods. The world is Earth but unknown millennia in the future. The MC, Constantine, is the reluctant hero who many believe is the Chosen One to save all humanity. This book chronicles the MC's journey from an above normal human to that of a meta-human behemoth trained to take on a god, a god from a pantheon that supposedly created humankind millennia ago and who has set the universe on a deadly course of human extinction. Book 1 is mostly a set of impossible tasks meant to end the MCs life which would leave the universe no hope.

I actually enjoyed the book and found Pete Bradbury's performance riveting and dramatic and plan to continue the series.
