Loved it

Loved it, adored it, cried with it, and fantasized with it. Sometimes wishing that I was there

What a great box set!

This was great! I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. A nice blend or mystery, horror and erotica!

Wow

Honestly, I enjoyed this series for the most part In. And that says a lot considering it’s length but when it came to Grays Shadow I began to despise the characters to the point where I didn’t want to continue. I genuinely would have preferred to have Gray leave the club. And that happening literally right before the ending plays a part in making me not want to continue because the other club members were so unlikable. I loved Beast and Laurence in the first book, and couldn’t wait to read the last to get to them again, but by the fourth I hated them. I also don’t feel that Grays story ended as well as the others before. Besides that I loved Shadows character.

Demonic. but utterly amazing

The whole collection had me on the edge of my seat. I normally don't listen to books like them, bit I like the author.

WOW!!! UNBELIEVABLE...

Anyone wanna say something about Beast being such a hypocrite and manipulative Ba$t@rd? He wants to keep his secrets far up his a$$, but he's mad because Laurent CAN'T tell him his... His personal life is off limits to Laurent, but he wants Laurent to give him his all. Talking about (if I can't know your secret, I can't love you properly), boy bye... He's complaining about the devil mark on Laurent, yet being mad cause the devil didn't wanna give him one...

Thank you Joel Leslie for making these books palatable.

This was one crazy story!

The wonderful Joel Leslie brings this fantastic story to life with each character’s voice being recognisable and so well crafted throughout the five books. The plot is solid and catching and oh so devilishly twisted. And the hot times are 9 on the Scoville scale. Kept me hooked for days and hoping it would all end well. Loved it!

Worth the Buy

First, I love Jole Leslie as a narrator. He's one of my favorites.

Second, althought I usually can't stand stories involving time travel, I kept going with this one because I thought, for what this was, it was well written, to a point. I especially loved the love sotry between Gray and Shadow because I could totally relate to both character. I do agree with another reviewer that I thought the character of Elliot was rather mentally ill considering his obession with a serial killer. However, if that person had kept reading instead of giving up on the book she would have seen that he does redeem himself in the end.

Third, Having liked this story arch very much, I have to say I was rather disappointed with a couple of things. One, I thought Magpie wasn't given enough of charactor time. He didn't really feel like a real character to me compared to the real personalities that were given to the other characters. At least, not until the very end. And speaking of the ending, I thought it was really rushed and pretty damned anti-climatic for how it all ended. I was also disappointed that Knight and Elliot weren't given an Epilogue at the end to wrap up their story arch like the other couples were. That pissed me off the most, since a couple of things to do with their story line were left hanging in the end. Unless KA Merikan decided to leave it vague in order to do a spin-off of this series, I wish they'd at least write up a couple of short stories explaining some of the loose endings.

Fourth, speaking of spin-offs, please! Give us one. I want to know how Laurant & Beast's children turn out.

More than expected

Joel did a great job the further into the series it went. His ability to capture the humor and little side narration quips was hilarious.
K.A. Merikan has the ability to create depth for her characters, as well as bring humor to the darker situations. I have never read this genre before. I was surprised how much I liked it. I was sad to see the series end. Seventy three hours is a long time to spend with someone.

Happy but not complete

These books are great. The end to each one was shocking and felt like right after the climax, it ended the book, which I mean at the end of book 5, it gives epilogues to all books but dang I still feel like something is missing.

I'm hoping K.A. Merikan will continue this with the kids. I believe that is the part that I feel is incomplete.

The author was great, but there were a few times that it seemed like the voice of another was the same, so those parts got a little confusing.

But these are great books. I really do hope there are follow-ups with the kids!!
