Publisher's summary

Even the darkest, stormiest night has a bit of light. But what happens if you take away that light?

That little, tiny beacon of hope. Nikalas Noise is about to find out, when one fateful night, he finds a portal, a portal to Furlasia. It’s a fantastic place, a place of unique beauty, a place of magic. But there’s something very wrong with this utopia, a sickness is spreading, a sickness named Septus.

Under the leadership of the elderly wizard known only as, Kunklestick, Nikalas is about to learn the ways of magic, for it is he who is destined to end the darkness. Can he push aside his own insecurities to become the true wizard Furlasia needs him to be?

Or will Septus succeed in his quest to punish all those who hurt him?

Highly Recommended!

I really enjoyed it. This was a fun audiobook. You will be presented to new characters as well as mystic beings that are decently of the fancy of this author and quite original in comparison to what I have read in similar books. I highly recommend this book.

I Enjoyed It

This is first book I got from this author. The plot kept me on the edge of my seat; the tangled story lines adding onto the suspense. As the story slowly clicked up to the peak, it became harder and harder to put down. I enjoyed the whole story indeed.

Interesting

I liked how the author wove in evidence that there is more to this prophecy than what meets the eye. Nikalas, as a kind of Harry Potter, seems destined to get involved up in danger from the get-go. The backstory of how Septus came to be and how his influence will grow is also great. I think more will be explained in the next book. Looking forward!

I Liked This Audiobook

I am loving this audiobook. It is a great symbol of what is amazing about Amazon. Having the ability to listen to new young authors with original storylines can give you so much more than the major publishers pre-approved for mass production books allow. There is so much description you have no trouble feeling like you have been transported to Furlasia with Nikalas.
